Make newbies READ(not suggest MAKE)

New members are always posting in the forum qeustions about chat and avatars and other things and im not saying anything like people are ignorant(lol) or anything rude about any1 but its the truth that if you just suggest to people that they do something then most people wont do it or theyll plan to do it but they never get around to it. AND well it would be better for a new member to actually read something for the info like chat and avatars and well everything instead of them posting something and waiting for a reply and hopin that the reply makes sense to them and helps them, which is always the case here because of all the coool members but on the other hand op66 has bent over backwards as it has grown up to try to put info in the forum for all to read so that they understand how the sites works and what they can do or need to do to be able to do what they want to do. SO is it possible to MAKE CERTAIN that new members read the MUST READ SECTION. maybe a one time popup of the must read page the 1st time a new members logs in if thats posible. i am thinkng that maybe making the new members actually read the must read page would help them to figure out how to navigate thriough the forumm and find out info that a lot of new members dont seem to know even long after their new such as how the multi table tournies work and that they can enter them as long as they have enough chips to buy in. i hionestly think that the new automatic chat activation isa great idea cause of all the new members that seem to have a prob understanding that you have to meet the criteria for chat, but they dont have to do that now and ill bet that if all members that are NEW are MADE to read the rukles and other info then they would not have to figure things out they would know and then could participate and compete better then they would if they never read that page. anyway it was just a thought to try to help the site and the newbies

paragraphs are not in any way gonna change anything. there are still the same amount of words that there wo;ld be if i used paragraphs. i am sorry but it just seems so unnecassary to use para graphs they dont change anything and if you guys think that a paragraph makes it seem like theres less to read before you rwad it then you are incredulously mistaken lol

I share your point about the newbies reading the must read section I didnt understand a lot of things until I read it completely
But with this long thread you are not helping them because if they dont read the must read section they wont read this

its not the matter of the length of your posts; its how difficult it is to read a huge block of text

but I'm sure you know that, and youll probably continue to use ur huge blocks

I would read your posts if there were paragraphs, mikey. So far, I mostly don't.


One big bundle of text doesn't make it. It as been proven and proven again by psycholohy of perception m8. It is not about the number of words, but about the strain on the eyes.

You're right is the same amount of words but it's still easier to read when divided in sections. The way you wrote it makes it too easy to get lost and hurts my eyes =D


PS: Before you say anything about "ignorants" try working on your spelling bud.
