I dont convert i think i have used it twice nearly all of my credits are given away , over 1.7 milion credits ...... but the name i think is wrong . Im intittled to an opinion arnt i ? xxx

Well if you converted credits and used them to play in a tourny as I have heard many a player do on this site and are good enough to win a medal it does not make you a bad player. If someone thinks that I say pff to them, I have never seen a horrible player win a medal. Personally I don't like the whole river rats thing at all. I think it is stupid and quite rude. How many times on this site have we read threads of players who went on tilt and lost all there chips now say they convert some of their credits to chips they now receive stupid river rat points what the heck. For example Roo is one of the best players on this site yet sometimes he goes on tilt and If i am correct has lost all his chips before so if he does that again and converts the max credits he now gets put on a river rats top list. To me its like saying hes a bad player just because he had a bad run of it. I just dont like the whole idea of it at all. As for there being a limit now on how much can be converted I think that is a good idea especially outlaws giving so many credits from dealing.

Not having a go but if a player tilts and losing all chips then they can reset chips to a thousand.....and work your way up its a minefield around these 10-50 nl tables but you will get through maybe you will need to reset a few times..and then when you get up to 100nl tables hopefully you will get a better game. Its only 2000 chips to play tourneys so should be no need to cash credits. However if players use credits all the time to max of 105k then the 1k nl table becomes a minefield as players know if they lose an all inner or big hand they can go straight back and cash these chips and go back to the same table....this creates 1k tabble same to 10nl table into abingo type game. not good as players are not learning the skills of ring table play whcih is differnet from tourneys..

Personally I feel that the credit system should not be used at all for chips and the site was better without it why is 1k not enough? River rats is just showing players that choose or need to.......as its says good players should not need to use this.......so think twice do you really want to be on the rat list or can you win chips without using it......I say if you want to enjoy a challenge no to chips converter.......goodluck anyhow and not a go at anybody.

Good Points, Im glad I dont have to play 10 tables though they are a nightmare with mostly bingo. It is not as easy to get a good poker game anymore ya have to search thank god for tournys and sit and gos.

I see that the main point here is "Why should someone who've suffered a tilt or bad beat be listed on River Rats?"... That's a total misconception of that new toplist!
Only players who will use the credits system as a daily 100k reload will be listed there (Everyone is losing 100 river rats points per hour).
On the other hand I'm sorry but going on tilt and losing a full bankroll or going down to zero from a bad beat is a direct proof you have to enhance your bankroll management skill. We have a few players making a huge work on that part of the game and I don't see anymore why we should forward a "reload to millions" option on site for players who will be awesome poker players on tables but very bad ones about banking : it's simply part of the game.
That's the point everyone missing when coming to money side : More than half of the players aren't losing there because of their poker skills but mostly due to their awfull bankroll management. It's not my opinion, it's a reality and I hope you could trust me there
