Looked back 4 pages to see a similar topic... The subject doesn't worth a new thread, but couldn't find it:
Why does no one talk/chat on small wager tables. I feel like an idiot, trying to socialize with people. Where are the manners?

On the lower tables people might not have chat active yet.

most people on the lower tables are new so they mostly don't have chat activation but you do find a few

If they are anything like me, took me a while to figure it all out! When you move up to the mini-tourneys, you will be surprised at how many people you will have to chat with! I'm sure there are some that wish I never would have had my chat activated! I couldn't play now if I couldn't chat!

I was on the table today when u came in and u said hi to evry1 and i said hi back but then u didnt say anything else and left after a few hands. I'm always happy to talk when I'm playing, i play on the low limit tables a lot and not very many ppl have chat activated so if u see me I'm up for a chat

they probably dont have chat activation yet..i dont think they are intentionally trying to ignore you

There could be alot of reason a person won't chat.
chat activation of course, but alot of are doing other things while playing and just pay attention to there hand only.there probably not trying to be snobby its just our 24/7 society we live in.

Not everyone does. Some like to focus. Some are muted. Some a plain ignorant and then there's me who doesn't shut bloody up, lol

well i would guess that about 95% of the players in the newbies tables probably still don't have chat unlocked, or might also be because some people don't like to be distracted from the game therefore they basically ignore everything you say. Hope it helped =D

also nother factor is sometimes when u chat u lose the plot of the game and i speak from experience being 1 of the more quiet 1s lol speak and b made welcome
