Hi,

You need to use the forums calendar to book it for your group of players.
It could be used for special events too, like for a match between a selection of players voted on forum, or for a super tournaments for only players having a gold medal... Everything possible and ideas welcome.

OP66 Invitational each day at 4PM server hour ( EST =9PM UK hour for example )
UPDATE : We have now 2 invitational tournaments running, one at 6AM and one at 4PM each day (server time is EST, add 5 hours for UK time for example).
Same names and same password for both!
buyin: 1000, classic blind structure going up each 6 mins

INVITATIONAL TABLE RULES

1) ONLY PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN INVITED BY THE ORGANISOR ARE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT (UNLESS THE TOURNAMENT IS AN "OPEN" INVITE THEN ALL PLAYERS ARE WELCOME)

2) ANY UN-INVITED PLAYERS WILL BE PUNISHED WHICH COULD LEAD TO YOU BEING BANNED

a) FIRST OFFENCE: WARNED AND FINED.
b) SECOND OFFENCE: A TEMPORARY BAN.
c) THIRD OFFENCE: PERMANENT BAN

THE ADMINISTRATORS AND MODERARATORS WILL USE THE ABOVE AS GUIDELINES BUT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BAN ON THE FIRST OFFENCE UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.

SO ANY UN-INVITED PLAYERS THAT ARE ASKED TO LEAVE AND DONT COULD BE BANNED

THESE RULES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE SO THE ORGANISORS TIME AND EFFORT IS NOT WASTED BECAUSE OF UN-INVITED PLAYERS SPOILING THE TOURNAMENT FOR EVERY ONE ELSE.

arghh that still no good for me i work from 7:00am-2:30pm (gmt)
and 7:00pm till 12:20am (gmt) can we move the 7:00am (sever time) to 9:00am (sever time) pleasee

if not then doesnt matter

hello all.

I wish to announce here that Group S.T.L (Spread The Love- founded by theBuddha) is going to start a weekly OP66tournament, which i will (attempt to) put on the calendar now.

If i'm right, it will be a multi-table tournament, and i have to push the fact that ONLY STL MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED! so basically if u ain't a member, join in with us lovely ppl...or miss out.

i gather that rules- in terms of buy-in and blind structure- as stated in this thread apply, tho i'd like confirmation on this by a mod who kno's exactly what's goin on here lol

For the invitational who do I get the password from, Bass said from a PM, but a PM from whom?

P.S. How can a player be "asked to leave"?

The guy setting up the event on calendar can send the password to the players registered to his tournament. (any sup mod can send him the pass)

Anyone can ask a player to leave if he hasn't the right to play there. Inform him he could be banned if he is playing, he needs to close the windows and let his blinds to be folded.

yes, i've got the tourney fixed up now with a nice li'l password.

If the invitational tourney is not booked on the calendar, is it free for anyone to join? so then its just another op66 tourney?

If I've booked a tourney on the event calendar how does it work? It's a group that is "invite only" so natch we jus want these ppl playing. What will the buyin be and where does every1 turn up? Should we all jus click "tournaments"? L'il help'd be greatly appreciated.

go to lobby click on tournaments, op66 invertational, 1 at 6am sever time,the other is 4pm server time hope this helps

Do you want an extra invitationnal tournament or change hour?
Perhaps 3 a day would let anyone chose an hour matching their time zone...

why not have 4 a day, in between the OP66 point tourney's(wombats,crown,hetmans,times)

so there would be op66 tourneys starting every 3 hours.

even if not all booked, our players still like playing them because only our members can play.

then there will be 8 a day, 4 points scoring one's, and 4 invites, this would also cover all time zones

Blacklava, could you please add another Invitational Tourney before 16 November. The start time needs to be 2:00am server time. This will allow us to play MrCool's Birthday Tourney.
