4 weeks have passed since you hinted at creating more invitationals with no further word from you on it.
Is this still something that is being worked on?
I , for one, am still very interested and in support of the "every 2 hours" concept, for what its worth.

OP66 Invitational each day at 4PM server hour ( EST =9PM UK hour for example )
UPDATE : We have now 2 invitational tournaments running, one at 6AM and one at 4PM each day (server time is EST, add 5 hours for UK time for example).
Same names and same password for both!

INVITATIONAL TABLE RULES

1) ONLY PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN INVITED BY THE ORGANISOR ARE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT (UNLESS THE TOURNAMENT IS AN "OPEN" INVITE THEN ALL PLAYERS ARE WELCOME)

2) ANY UN-INVITED PLAYERS WILL BE PUNISHED WHICH COULD LEAD TO YOU BEING BANNED

a) FIRST OFFENCE: WARNED AND FINED.
b) SECOND OFFENCE: A TEMPORARY BAN.
c) THIRD OFFENCE: PERMANENT BAN

THE ADMINISTRATORS AND MODERARATORS WILL USE THE ABOVE AS GUIDELINES BUT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BAN ON THE FIRST OFFENCE UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.

SO ANY UN-INVITED PLAYERS THAT ARE ASKED TO LEAVE AND DONT COULD BE BANNED

THESE RULES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE SO THE ORGANISORS TIME AND EFFORT IS NOT WASTED BECAUSE OF UN-INVITED PLAYERS SPOILING THE TOURNAMENT FOR EVERY ONE ELSE.

ok,.. well here goes....

I am very sad this evening as i write this. The idea of additional invitational tourneys was introduced OVER TWO months ago, supported by many players and, it seemed at the time, even the administration. I have come here and politely asked for simply an update on the progress of this concept, and have received NO REPLY.
Today, I see the introduction of the new 'outlaw' tourneys. GREAT IDEA, I must say~ it seems like they will be very popular, and the quality of game sounds impressive and refreshing. And HEY WOW, look at that!!! ~ they're evenly spaced between the op66 tourneys. ( just like we had hoped the additional invites would be ). Only problem, personally, is that a real money account must be active to play them. This is something that I have absolutely NO intention of EVER doing. I'm sure I cannot be alone in this.
So, to summarize:
-no response to requests for new free invites
-no apparent progress on the addition of more free invites ( see, without any information, the only thing that we can do is assume that nothing is being done)
-hmm and now the sudden addition of 'pay' tourneys.
-almost every new improvement that has come recently has SOME sort of tie- in with the real $ side.

Although I can completely understand that this site has to make money, and the real $ side is currently the only means to do that,...it sure is starting to feel like..... well, basically that OP66 is not paying attention to the needs and requests of the free players in favor of enticements and improvements to lure new and current players over to the real $ side.
there is a list of many many items for the free side ( and im talking about more than just avatars.. things that will actually improve the whole experience... find a friend feature, better table selection, improved format for ease of use, etc ) that we have been asked for and told that are being worked on, and told to be patient, it takes time and alot of work. But yet, here we see many new features being added that are NOT on this list..so.. one HAS to wonder, " is it REALLY that hard, or is it just that you simply aren't focusing on it in favor of the real $ side?"
I apologize for my frustration and muddled words.. I hope my intent comes through despite them. But after waiting for over 2 months for even a SIMPLE POSTED response, and then seeing the outlaws tourneys introduced today.. it took me over the edge.

I guess i really dont expect a response here, as I haven't gotten one previously. I'm writing just to get it off my chest, and perhaps give the admin something to consider:

~although we may not be PAYING customers,,.... and although you CREATED this site, it is US who have been here ( some since the START ) who have MADE IT WHAT IT IS.

I am sorry if this offends anyone, but I have to agree with Mr.Cool.

I personally joined because it has been the friendliest site I've found....and I really enjoy it.
But, I don't feel I m a good enough player for the money tables, plus I'd be scared to play them anyway.

I started playing Outlaws out of boredom, then later it was added that I'd have to actually pay to get much farther than I am now. I don't like it so much anymore, but still find myself playing it.

I understand this is a business, but if I can't afford or am too scared to play the cash end of it, does this mean my opinions don't matter? Should I just shut up and stick to the tables and nothing else?

MRCOOL and Breezy, although this is a late reply, at least it is a reply. It just goes to show how all the spam and chat and personal issues (drama) being spammed into the Forums can disrupt the site to a point where the real issues get overlooked. For that I apologize. The fact that the things you are asking have not been incorporated does not mean that your ideas, opinions, and concerns are not valued. Naturally, not all desires are going to be met, and I find myself wishing some things were different. I have no true answers for either of you, as I have nothing to do with the coding, or scripts, or whatever the Computer wizards do to give us what we have. I just thought your concerns deserved some sort of response after going unanswered for so long.
