op66 needs your help

it is unfortunate that there are some issues with this site as far as the server that is being used. i have been a member for 1 month now and i sooo enjoy playing cards here and some of the members that i get to play with are fun to play with and, besides all of the bugs and computer glitches and ahole members, this site is well worth the time that i spend on it. lava and the mods do a most excellent job of trying to maintain everything and i believe that a member could not ask for much more then what they get when they become a member for free. with that being said, i would like to propose a way to generate funds that would definitly allow op66 to get a new server. i would GLADLY pay a fee for statistics. let me explain. if i could have these statistics on my personal page that would tell me what rank i was in all of the top list catagories i would GLADLY pay opp66 a small monthly fee. 1.99 a month would be a very small token of appreciation for everything that i get from op66. and if op66 could put those stats on my personal page then anyone on the site can go to that page and see my statistics. i now that op66 probably wont do this without knowing that enough members would pay a small fee so i am putting a poll here. if the poll indicates that enough members would pay the fee then maybe they will do it. this is a chance for all members to sHOW their gratitude for the free poker and fun times that we all get. oh did i say thatnks for the free poker?????????????

Okay well if i am right this game is all hosted by pro wager systems(www.prowagersystems.com) i dont belive they can upgrade the server anymore i might be very rong but i think it is a web based server with a static i.p address which hosts the site therefore no upgrades are avalible how ever i am all in for donateing money towards the site not for upgrades for more games i belive this site and game could go far as not just being a poker site but a casino prowager systems if one of the best systems ive seen around the sytems are around 10k-14k for a game on its own before you add other things like liecence ect ect i think it would be a great idea to raise money for a new game like slots or horse raceing ect ect therefore i feel we should raise money to help www.onlinepoker66.com happen if black lava likes this idea and i would happly donate towards a new script so as soon as i see a dontetion button ill be right on it

Right now I would not since it has not been asked of the admin. You can post all the poles you want and talk about PWS all you want. The last word from Blacklava was he did not want any donations. He will get the site back to normal. All the bugs can be expected when you are upgrading the script. As far as anyone collecting it will be a cold day in hell before I give my account # to a volunteer. Remember, I know your record.

Lets see if I can overstep my boundaries and try to answer this once and for all.

The issues with the site performance and the "server" issues are not hardware issues. It is not a matter of needing a bigger server, more memory. more servers or even more pipe.

The script updates have created memory usage and release issues. These are normal when software changes. These will be resolved through modification by the programmer and configuration changes to the system resources.

That being said, the concept of user donations or monthly fees have been discussed at length and the site owner is fixed in the position that this site will remain free. There will be OP66 vranded merchandise available for sale and any funds created from that will go to the site.

I would like to say to anyone who might be considering disclosing any critical information, like credit cards or pay pal account information to ANYONE, you must not do this without a Secure Socket Site and full knowledge of who you are dealing with. NO ONE ON THE OP66 STAFF is asking for your information and we DO NOT WANT YOU TO TELL US.

We have all the tools to continue to provide service to you, that we need in the system.
