Just another suggestion also, how about a year long competition. Have one tourney per month, and the winner of each monthly game wins an entry into a grand final at the end of the year. The winner of that could be the tourney league champion for the year.

As with your idea it would need to cover all time zones to give everyone a chance, so I guess that might be a bit of a stumbling block.

very good point shrooms.

but if we run 3 or 4 seperate league's at first then you could both be seperate 1's, same with anyone 1 else that has same circumstances.

clearly tho if both progress further then the issue might become relevent again, not sure on a final answer on that any idea's welcome.

maybe 1 of you has to have a holiday and play final from there

if we did it like that, 12 tourneys, 12 winners playing off then it wont really be like a league as such, which was the original intention.

maybe an idea tho for a seperate competition.

i just thought a league table changing weekly would be an interesting idea.

can i ask a question thats gunna sound nasty, but its not meant to be nasty?
in all of these tourneys, titans, international etc, the aussies and the USAers always say 'i cant play coz of the time'...why duznt someone from one of these places ever set anything up for themselves? i know i sound bad, but after doing the titans and the inter, i find that organisers end up feeling guilty for leaving people out when all they are doing is working within their own timezone The UKers will still join in, but at least your own countries wouldnt struggle trying to keep their eyes open...jeez i've seen nolakay get up at 5am just to play a tourney!
come on the rest of the world...get some tourneys up and running...

understand where your coming from and yes other competitions could easily be set up at other times, remember we even got the 11pm (uk moved to 9pm uk) invite moved as was more convienient for us, so dont see there would be a problem moving others as well.

thats why tho i'm trying to set up leagues at different times so all can be involved if they want to
