I remember first discovering limit years ago on this site. There were freerolls every hour and some were limit. I got so confused once when I signed up for a limit freeroll as to why it wouldn't let me shove all in to protect my AA on a draw heavy board.

Can't say it wouldn't be like Omaha all over again (not enough time to make it very often or interest from others) but if I had time I think it would be fun.

i would be willing to try any different tournie but if it ends up at an unsuitable time every week (like Omaha tournie, which I would dearly love to play but not usually able to on a sunday afternoon) then it may be a non-starter for me.
however for the purpose of the poll i will vote yes

i not personally a fan of limit poker, but if we dont have a limit torney we really should for those who like it, so we cover everyones needs as a poker site

I will vote yes but will not personally enter them as they take too long for me.

Limit the starting chips to 500 which will help shorten the game as cuddy had indicated about the length of these types of tourneys.

more tourneys cancelled = not fun

more tourneys to choose from = more fun

I like how we have the dailies and the mammoths and the omaha and the calendar events and outlaws (and ladies if I was one). Even though I personally really only do outlaws with a daily here or there and an occasional mini mammoth.

But my thing is why do all of those but the Omaha (which never goes anyway) have to be NLHE? I mean if I was forced to only play one kind of poker I'd pick no limit. It's my favorite, but I'd love more variety.

Some of the people here play poker A LOT. Does no one else get a little bored and want a new game?

I know there has been a smattering of talk of 7 card stud here or there. And Omaha is decently popular. I know notnutz even mentioned 5 card draw once before he disappeared.

I don't want to steal gbi's thunder with a new question in the middle of his poll, but not as a poll just as a question: does anyone think this is feasible at all?
