Waste of time even saying anything if you ask me, makes virtually no difference as far as I can tell.

On the last script I had a screenshot of someone being extreemly racist and in an evil sick way. I contacted support and before I said who it was, they asked me "was it XXXXXXX" I was surprised because it was that person. They told me they already knew about the person and that they didn't need my screenshot, the matter was already being dealt with.............funny though because after that I saw them on tables again!

I've reported a couple of people on this script, for using foul abusive language towards other players, some of it very out of order. I still see them playing at the tables though....so what's the point. (by the way I do not mean the person who said something out of frustration at me, which in comparison to what I've seen since was fairly mild, but was then mature enough to apologise and eliminate any ongoing problems. Thanks again to that person)

Ages ago I posted a joke in the jokes section, but not in the adult part. The joke had the word tits in it. I received an infringement notice or whatever they are called. I replied and apologised.

Come on, wake up and get some perspective. If someone has the time to spot the word tits in a joke and contact the person who wrote it, wouldn't you think they would have the time to look through the hand history, see the proof they need, and then take some EFFECTIVE action towards the person who, broke the site rules in a far more serious way?

I'm beginning to think the site rules should be posted in the jokes section!!!!

As someone else posted somewhere, don't show a picture of a nipple or you will be gone! But apparently you can really badly verbally abuse someone and keep playing here....go figure that one out! On another thread regarding the sites rules I was asked which was worse, chip dumping or abusing other people. The person asking said chip dumping was worse because it is cheating. Sure it is and that's not OK....but nor is abusing other people. It's not a question of which is worse, they are both wrong. But chip dumping results in a ban, abusing people only results in a chat ban. That's just stupid if you ask me.

If I don't get banned for this post I will keep playing on here because the vast majority of people on here clearly seem to be mature, sensible, considerate and fun people, who come here to play poker and enjoy the company of the other site users. But if I happen to stumble across some brain dead moron who want's to abuse me, I'm going to abuse the hell out of them with a no holds barred response..........and I can because if it's OK for others to do it UNPROVOKED and not get banned, then it would go without saying that my foul mouthed abusive extremely rude response would be acceptable, especially as it would have been PROVOKED. If it wasn't OK that would mean the application of the rules was inconsistent wouldn't it?

Someone needs to layout EXACTLY what the steps are to report abuse on the tables. Most don't know how or who to report to. You can't get to the forum from the DL version. You have sit out, record name & hand number, sign on, go to site, find someone to report to. Most pepole don't want take the time when they are playing. I think there should be an INSTANT REPORT button on both DL & flash version. And the responce should be quick & devestating to the abuser.

I think the instant report button is a good idea, but the reporting side of the issue isn't where the main problem lies. It's the unbalanced rules and inconsistent application of them that I think is the main problem.

It is with great sadness that i tell you,my friends, I am leaving the forum. i know i ave just returned,but there is a fundamental problem I see,something that goes against my basic human principles, serious racism.

there is a player called burlington who is a serious racist. i highlighted him in a post a few days ago. i saw him tonight,more racist than ever. i ave seen him use the word ch*nk Go*k slant eye f*cker and many more times, and multiple tables.it was not a word here or there,but protracted,concentrated bile. When I spotted him being horrible tonight, I informed aus.she was great and banned his chat. however, mods can only do whta they are given power to do by admin. A chat ban in my opinion is not enough. i dunno what rich or queen did,but dont see how it could be worse than horrible racism.

ANyway,i cant stay on a forum that has such light punishments for crimes against humanity. I have re-connected with old friends,and met some new ones. I care about many people here.

i will continue to play on the tables,but am done with this side of things.

maybe this affects me so much as my daughter is half chinese, but its something i feel strongly about.

A complete IP ban,added to his address being passed to other sites is the least mods should have the power to do

I really dont understand your point here...Yes he was chat blocked for using abusive language so he can longer speak at the tables....If we were to apply full bans for everyone that used bad language at a table for every little word etc..there would be no one playing here. A chat block was all that was required here...he can no longer speak problem solved.

full well agree with evrything you said.
But the the thing that stood out the most was the statement i put above. The first time i met you on the tables, i knew you were a class act m8. always a respectfull person, never abusive.
Fun to carry on with. And most of all, an intelligent persn. As Arezzo said,.. dont let the ignorance of 1 run off the spark of genius . You know what i'm sayin m8......... kill'em with kindness they'll hang themselves sooner or later.

Well there was a game played were a player was abused and hassled that i was watching not by someone we dont know but by someone we do all know felt this was uncalled for and unjust. Think we all need to take a look at ourselves we arent perfect and we all make mistakes and we pay for them. But some people wont let go. We are family here so lets start acting like it.

here, here Kay...unfortunately, not everyone has the same way of thinking.

I believe Irish has left the forum because he feels let down...whilst the clop was going on he sent me a few pms and he was fuming. Lets hope he comes back once he's calmed down coz he's luvly lad, and as tatt said, its always a pleasure to see him on the tables. Its not a good thing to see the decent kids being driven out by bullies, but thats exactly how i see this situation. He has left because was abused and feels unsupported. THIS is where the moderation team should come in...we, are paying customers, and as such should be entitled to play here free from abuse, discrimination and bullying, this should be a PRIORITY over deleting posts on a forum...
