Default Reboot (please Read)

ass soon as the site was rebooted many members were allready complaining that they had bad lag and im sure they did but i didnt have lag at all and no bugs and i believe that i know why. just as the site has to reboot to get back all of the virtual memory so that the site will function properly and i will bet that most of you need to do that too. and when i say reboot i mean SHUT OFF. you cannot restart your comp because that does not replenish the memory in your comp you MUST shut your comp off and dont turn it back on for about 20 to 30 seconds. this is the only way to get back all of the memory. and i dont mean to imply that you all dont know what your doing but i will explain it so that you will know and pass it on to your family and friends so they will know too.
EVERy time that you open your browser or click on anything on a page or check your mail or download somthing and well anytime that you do anything you use up memory and depending on how much your memory chip has when you use a lot of it up by doing what i said then your comp will run slow and not work properly. it will do things such as not open up a tourny table or take too long to upload a table and things like that. and especially at multip[layer game sites when you play a mini or play at a table for a half hour or so you drain a lot of memory and then you will lag when the site is NOT lagging. then if the site starts to lag cause it needs to reboot then if you are laggging then its going to be worse for you. and the one thing that eats up the most memory from a comp is playing multiplayer games. so if you read this then b4 you come here shut your comp off and after playing a few minis shut it off also and youll work MUCH better. OH if you have a lot of memory in your chip because they all have diff amounts of memory then you can play longer ifyou have a lot of memory. anyway i know this will help all of you if you just take my advice. YES i have complained about the lag and will continue to do so because i BELIEVE that the site is to blame BUT it is not that prevelent and it is not the sites fault really but i ALSO BELIEVE that a lot of the times when members experience lag it is becuase their computer needds MORE MEMORY and or members need to get their virtual memory back by shutting down. AND ! MORE THING. in side the properties somewhere you can change the amount of memory that you use for different things that your comp does so go find that and change it. most comp recommend that you set it at 80 mbs but i have mine set higher. and please if you are playing music and your on 2 or threee tables and you are multi tasking like that then you will have lag but shutting down before you come here or after you been here for a couple hours will definitly help a lot and if it dont then you have a browser problem. i hope this helps and please dont any1 take this the wrong way i am not saying that you dont know what you are doing but i will bet all my miullions that you DO NOT shut down b4 you come here.

Good little piece of reading material.
That explains why I usually dont have a problem with lag. Upgraded the memory to the max. and went with FIOS Internet.
Thanks Mike

yw u guys. honestly there are quite a few other things that will cause lag on the members computers side not the site but that is 1 thing that should and most likely will help most members. i would hate for 1 of you to try to bet against me and get folded out when i woulda won hahahahahahahahahaha. but i hope that this helps, it should. no it wont fix the lag and it may not helpo some people but it should help a lot to work better here

Sorry MV...But I just don't believe it!...I've a pretty new laptop with plenty of memory...and couldn't even get a seat tonight...I was the bloody invisible "undefined" player!...What a crock!...The problem aint at my end...I don't believe it!...I watched 54 players die earlier in less than 15minutes in the 10K right after the reboot!...Maybe they weren't all there?...It did start 2and a half hours late?...But the Bugs and Lags are getting worse!...Much worse!...and I must be the most frustrated person on OP66 right now...as my evening's play has been ruined by reboots and bugs!....Aaaaaarrrrggggghhhhh.....Fed Up...Sox

rather than get frustrated, angry and ready to kill a granny,if theres loads of lag in a big tourney i just sit out as its more fun watching paint dry.
i dont think too much will be done to cure things as this is the free side of the site and it wouldn't be cost effective.
