Refund? Big tourneys not 56k friendly

dear mods, i just entered the lunch to dinner tourney #522 and it took surprisingly longer than usual to load. low and behold when i finally get into my first table, before the first deal i see, it eliminates me and says i came 30th. is there any chance of a refund? and longer timeout for the little community of 56k modemers?

I have the same problem, the phone wires to my house are outdated, something about a "pair gain" and i can't get broadband.. well, couldn't until recently, I'm waiting for my government funded sattelite to arrive. The big tournaments always suck me in, I'll have a few days with little to no trouble loading tables, so I'll decide to chance a lower buy-in big tourny, only to annoy everyone for the first 20 minutes while I can't get in again. i thought maybe instead of a longer timeout, that you could open the game window before the tournament actually started or something? I dunno.. but it does suck, especially for us 56kers who have no choice about it.

I think it is unlikely that Lava will be able to let you join a table before the tourney has finished registering, as the table seating is not worked out until all players are registered.

I could have a solution for 56K players in a few days/weeks, a lighter version of the table with lower graphic quality. The flash stuff is 850ko which take too long to load in big tourney when you're moving from one table to another...
