| it seems like a lot of members are having trouble with the site time as far as when tournys are for them because of where they live in the world. And i know that op66 cannot accomodate every single member because memberds are from every single time zone on the map BUT could it be possible that where the SITE TIME is located on the tables page could the time that it is for the UK and AUSSIE members be put there as well and NOt just the site time. And i dont mean to not be sympoathitic towards all other members time zones but the majority of members are form the USA and the UK and AUSTRALIA. and if those three times were on the tables page then most other members would be able to figure out what time the tournys were for them becuase they are closer to their own time zone then they are for the site time which is PACIFIC coast time USA. anyway it was just a thought. and just incase some of you didnt know this you can type TIME ZONE MAPS in your browser and get websites that help you to figure out what time it is where you are according to the site time |

| Michael, I don't see the problem, the site time is clearly visible when you are looking to register for a tourney, as is the tourney start time. You are only able to register for a tourney 2 hours before it starts, lets face it, its not rocket science. Maybe anyone who cannot work out the site time and relate it to their own time should not be playing poker !!!!!!!!!

| no really fozzy some members that are lets say 10 or 12 hours difference from the site time are having trouble knowing when the tournys are and another reason is this. when members are going to play on the invitational tourny because someone they know has claimed a time for an invitational tourny and invited them to play then many are having trouble knowing when exactly the time of the tourny is for them as far as the site time goes. I run the 500k Mistress/Mammoth group and we play every saturday night but each week is a different time and there have been many members that have been confused and didnt make the tourny cause they got the time wrong and it would really help members in that situation. i know that the invitational tourny table is not used that much but it the interest is growing for that table and in time i believe that that table will be used more often and it would really help if there were coordinating times for the memberss who are not in the usa. like i said its just a suggestion. besides foz you just wanna disagree with me cause you said so in the game we played earlier ahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha noo just terasin and you are absolutely correct and it is sort of commonsense to be able to figure out the times for a tourny but there are those who are having trouble so i thought i would suggest this idea. |

| Mike, I've resisted the temptation for several threads and posts, but this one was just too tempting. Your idea is perfectly valid, but equally it can't be that hard to work out a time difference surely ??? If it is too hard, then what chance have they got of figuring out pot odds, potential pot odds etc ??

| It's not calculus to work out the time vis a vis, server time against your local time, c'mon ppl my grand children will be able to send you the correct time for your time zone.

| I like Michael's idea it would be a lot easier then it is at the moment but if it doesn't happen I'm fine with it staying the way it is at the moment

| Heck I have trouble with the site time compared to my time. It is never the same. For example my time is 11:06, the site reads 11:49PM. |

This is the only problem i have with this site. I'm on here to have fun, and I don't know why some of you have to act like it you are playing for 100 million real dollars. It's a free site...chill out with the pot odds and stuff like that. Get a grip....HAVE FUN!!! Don't be soooooooooooo serious!! |
