Sometimes I Hate This Game

I don't want to Whine.
I just need to vent a little.
This weekend has been miserable for me.
I've managed to go from almost 3 million to 750K in the past week. most of it lost this weekend. This happened to me about a month ago also.
I know patience is a virtue but my patience with myself is running thin. I can't play much during the week so I seem to be nonstop on the weekends. Then, when things arent going my way, I steam and play one after another AND LOSE. i make terrible decisions which of course makes me steam more. Then there is also the bugs which I can honestly say have NOT influenced my results that much this weekend.
I can't quit playing though.....even for a few hours.
Man, sometimes I hate this game.
See ya at the tables. My Chips seem to be up for grabs.
Come get them while I still have them. LOL

I am sure that a good card player such as you will get going soon. It is only a matter of time. At least the tournaments are fun and relatively cheap. They are a wonderful challenge in helping regain your patience.

Sorry to hear of your frustration mary, I know how you feel, we've all been there. Ya just think, one win, and I'll feel better. Well, I'm sure you'll bounce back, you're a great player and i'm sure you'll be back to where you were, even double that soon

It must be something in the air. I know that cards run in cycles. Keep the faith Mary! I'm down 6M these last two days. Just keep at it, taking periodic breaks, for your self and for the cards to change.

The trouble is when peeps get into that situation they try to force a win by playing silly and calling in hope of a straight or flush chasing. Just be patient with yourself and most of all with the game. I know it must be hard coz you only get play at the weekends but if that is the case try and change your mind set and concentrate on a target. Aim for a top 15 in a big torny or just put all your efforts into winning a mini torny for that weekend.. soon your chips will build right up again..honest i know coz im from the future you know

Telboy, I did my college age daughters 7 loads of laundry (Thanks forestking for that advice) and then made a pitcher of Margaritas about an hour ago. i'm on my third glass. lets see if that helps me in the upcoming multi. if not, i'll make tea. LOL
One thing I can always count on around here is friendly advice and encouragement.
