So how many chips are you currently sitting on Duke? Looking forward to seeing you in the Mammoth.

I'm right at 900K. So I could definintely play at this point, but I'd feel more comfortable around 1.5 mill

LOL, Duke... if you win, you'll have a LP to your credit... even if you place 3rd, you'll have some loose change... this past week, 3 positions were paid... 5-mil, 3-mil, 2-mil

However, and I realize this is obvious... if you fail to place... you still have some room to work with (400k) to re-build on the Mini Mammoth.

Thanks, Jim. Yeah it's far from crazy justifying playing in the mammoth now, and I might just do that. I mean my bankroll easily covers 20K and would still if I lost half of it busting on the mammoth. And there's no tournament buy in between the 20K and 500K that I'd jeopardize. And it's not like there's a big jump between 100/200 and 200/400 tables either. So no point not to go for it, but chances are I won't make it. Either way it's an experience and I'll just keep at it.
