Time for some truth...

firstly i appologize for my post on the other thread. it was a rant long building. i did mean evrything i said tho. i should have written it on a piece of paper then trashed it. it was detrimental to the purpose of the thread.
secondly i am very thankful to the mods for all of the work and time put into running things as smoothly as can be. Tex the long arm of the law always quick on the draw, and a straight shooter without fail. MrSlick i believe i sent u a pm stating u were the best choice for the new mod position. Aus thru the years you have helped me on so many occasions i cant count em, and i fear that i sent u off with my post. i am truly sorry. olive branch extended .

Hi Arezzo. I don't know you (probably my loss) and I don't know very much about The Clique but to quote one of your comments above ..."you could not be more wrong...".

You would need to be drawing a very long bow or to be looking to be offended to assume that a reference to cliques would be anything other than the use of a generic term. If I had a problem with The Clique I would have been upfront about it and said as much without using 'weasel words'. Rest assured, I do not have any problems with you or your group/clique. as a matter of fact, I don't really care if there are groups,factions etc -- that is normal for any large community and it is only when those groups are dysfunctional and attempt to destabilise the community that a problem arises.

My reference to cliques etc was more to explain my lack of knowledge about many of the issues afflicting the site -- as explained in my post, my main experience had been reading negative threads/posts.

If your group is having the impact that you say, then I say more power to it and also more power to any group or individual with the goal of positive improvement to the site.

Aus...this is a fantastic post.
Ordinarily I would say these things to you in a PM, but I want to say it here for all to read.

I had a few tears in my eyes reading it. It's straight from the heart and absolutely hits the nail on the head.
Well done for speaking out.

The thought that someone could wish you dead and makes you feel uncomfortable is not a happy one at all for me.
It seems unbelievable, but I know you speak the truth.

You and Tex are head and shoulders above us all here. Absolutely NO question of that in my mind. If either of you two leave here, I can't imagine what would be left of this place.

I always pop in to see if and when things may improve, so I haven't 'left' because of the things you mentioned, but I do feel uncomfortable too.
It's been more than a few months for me though.
