Titans tourney no more?

I think for the benefit of all in op66 the Titans tourney should not be held again

it is supposed to be fun, but has caused various arguements & problems the last few times it has been held.

this cannot be good for the site as a whole

i guess if someone wants to organise another, then thats up to them

I for 1 will not be playing it again

I agree too Pappy, the whole idea has been forgotten, it's no different from all the other tourneys without the medals. To be honest I don't think poker was intended to be a team game.

i think it depended on which table u were at,1st hour i had great fun,table was buzzin,gud friendly banter then i moved,put it this way,it wasnt nice
so i too wont be playin this tourney anymore,and seriously considerin packin the whole thing in

you're right fred, team play on this scale is definitly a big part of the problem


hey tiger m8, i'll continue to organise tourneys as long as people enjoy them. Its obvious that this isnt one that people enjoy

the idea of folding for others will always cause friction. what started as a good idea has turned quite ugly on many occasion.

Pappy and sc you worked so hard and this is so sad to read...I haven't been able to play the past few titans because of work but it is one of my fav's...organizing this is a HUGE job and you both could NOT have done a better one!!!...just know all your efforts have not gone unnoticed!!!!...love you both...xxx

Was on tigers table for first hour and agree .. it was buzzin .. full of love and giggles and all lookin out for their bros and sisters xx This has always been one of my favorite tourneys despite the strange way we need to play, but 2nd hour tonite consisted of sisters takin out sisters, including me .. my mouth is still open in wonder why?

i think peoples competiveness (is that a word??hehe) is always going to get in the way of playing a team tourney. No matter how hard you advise on the way to play there will always be at least one.
I'm calling it a day for titans...value my friends...dont want arguments for the sake of poker.

it is a word deb "competitiveness" and the reason we are all here lol xxx but if the game is to compete against our bros and sis's, then we need to play it that way. If we cannot team play, we just do not play the once a month tourney that is set up that way. I luv titans for the different game it is and hate to think it's over.

well if anyone takes any notice of this i will be gob smacked,,,this is not the first time titans as had agro ,its happerend twice while i was cap,,resulting in me completly blanking the two players that caused it and i have no intention of haveing anything to do with them,so wot makes this one any different from the others,,nothing ps so now im going to sleep on wot to do in the future
