What a GREAT Day

I completed my work day early and decided to spend the afternoon in the office playing poker. I got a Bronze in the early tourney.
What a fun tourney it was!
I then came home to a wheel of fortune contest with my daughter home from college, and a terriffic dinner prepared by my hubby, TSnow. (my daughter kicked my butt at Wheel)
Then the late tourney. Smash was with me from the begining. i was quite happy when we both ended up at the final table. Also there was TSnow, my hubby and the winner. I was on front porch with my laptop, biting my nails AND smoking a cigerette there at the end.
A Silver and and a Bronze in one day, back to back tourneys, and a 10 hour day at the office.
It's been a Great Day!
I'm off to watch my taped version of LOST , unless up on internet, and fall asleep after.

Great games...sounds like fun?...but call my cynical, I'm getting a wee bit suspicious of husband and wife and family, boyfriend girlfriend "Tag Teams"...Have seen a few strange hands played recently, folding around to a "friend or relative!...Might start a new thread on it...See what the Mods think...Think IP addresses need checked so only one from one household on line at any one time?...Not saying you were cheating here either...just saying I think it goes on...Best of luck doubling up!...Sox xxxx

Call me irrational but am I to belive you think people who live in the same house shouldn't play online together?
You say you aren't accusing us of cheating but yet you start another thread on the same subject asking a Mod to look into it???
Sounds Dam close to an acusation to me.

What about MR & Mrs. Bassmaster?? Should they not be able to play together??

Sox, I understand what you are saying but really I'd be more worried about the people who are just friends on this site doing one another a favour in a tourney (I have witnessed that) more so than family members where the family rivalry is even greater I'd say

Ausangel...You've hit the nail on the head...That's what I was trying to say...Sure Ts...Family rivalry has a place...I just don't believe in coincidence...Don't know the Bassmasters...Don't know you and Mrs T...and I haven't accused you of anything...I will be watching tho...So will the Moderators hopefully?...Its supposed to be a game mate and some games are too easy to abuse...Apologies in advance if you find any insinuations here harsh...but I have seen as Ausangel suggests...friends doing other friends favours...I expect none and take none...Lets hope the Ante is upped now...next time we meet?...A little debate and rivalry surely can't hurt?...Can it?...Sox

Yes it is a game, one I take very seriously.
My wife posts about what a great day of poker she has and instead of saying, Well done you imediatly jump to "CHEAT!!" Why I ask? You say you don't know us. You say you don't know the Super Moderator Bassmaster, or his wife who like to play together, Could they be cheating as well? Or is it just us you have a problem with?

If you had concern you should have taken it through the channels that exist for this type of accusation. Instead you basicly acuse us in one thread and ask us to be looked into in another.

Did ya even read her post? we were on seperate tables until the final table, and then she went out side on her laptop to play. No I'm sure you didn't.

I have asked the moderators to look into the Tourney "Chow Hound" just to see if your accusations are based only in your head.

Let me put my two cents worth in at this point before this becomes something other than "Hey Great Job, Congratulations Mary".

Any concern about another player should be played out through a PM to a moderator, not on the boards, it isn't what the forum is here for.

As for people who play together, either family, room mates, or just people who know each other outside the tables, THIS IS A FREE SITE.

I have been here since November of last year and I know quite a few of the players here so does that mean if (insert player name here) and I are on a table together chatting about something outside the game that we are cheating? No.

As for those who do have relations on the site, I think the majority of the players here can be trusted to act like adults and should be given the benefit of the doubt. If anyone does not agree with that, for a specific instance, PM a moderator and you will find that we are quick to research the claim and take the appropriate actions.

Let me end by saying, Congratulations Mary. I had the brief pleasure of playing against you earlier today and you have solid play.
