Default What is this I hear ?

Whilst playing in tonight's ( well my night anyway ) Hetmans , I was told that the recent OP66 tourneys will not be counted . Reasons I heard were that some of the players were accessing OP through Pitbull or similar in order to play . To me it says that people are keen to play even if they do have to go through dirty means to get there ! These people should be commended for their efforts as our own site has let them down . Me myself , and I know there are others , are still playing on the OP66 felt .... green ...
When the new script started last time , we had many many tournaments that started with less than 20 people ..... yet all those medals and points were counted .... much to my disgust at the time - but accepted by me . Whilst I feel for the people that couldn't access OP66 through the standard routes , I feel that if you discount the recent tournaments ........ well ...... go back through history then .... lol ..... there have been many tournaments where the site has gone down pre / post / half way into a tournament where people have been excluded ?
As far as I am concerned ...... if there is a result in the completed tournaments section .... then the tournament has occurred and results are effective ...... but what do I know ?

Members of op66 were advised not to login through pitbull, so for the ones that heeded that warning and wanted to play its not a fair outcome, so for now the toplists are offline.

Thanks

Aus

As I said Ausangel ...... I am and was playing on OP66 .... I fail to see your point

and I will argue this point ..... go through the past of this site !!!

Lava has suspended the toplists for now, as we are not operating on the network for now.

the problem arises because of the following reasons.

24/7 are informing players trying to cash out that OP66 no longer has 24'7 support and are no longer part of the network.
if you read other posts you will note lava is trying to get answers for them, but is recieving no responce's.

as for OP66 skins (lobby/table) this is probably due to the fact you have an OP66 cookie on your system, be interesting what you would have if you deleted cookies/temps and then loaded( not that i suggest loading in through pitbull is a good idea)

the facts are simple, there trying to encourage us to log in via them in an attempt to "poach" us away.

whilst blocking us entry via OP66

I still fail to see .... sorry must be too old ..... why any other tournament in the past that has registered a result ( even though they may have had any number of problems preventing players playing / joining ) has its details counted ? ..... where does the line start ?
I realise I am creating headaches ..... but as a lot of aussies will understand .... " Please explain ? " ( in my best Pauline Hanson voice )

we are already 'part' of their network so they have us anyway...they know this so why on earth would they need to try to 'poach' us?

What Id like to know is to whom is the Hetmans tournement, or any tourney come to that registered to? I know we share Networks, but why do we have the same tourneys? Sister site just doesnt work for me. I understand we are no longer using the same network(thankgod). My question is on the new script, will the tournies have the same name and toplist?

firstly, no OP66 accounts should be able to be accessed by logging in through Pitbull, the fact that they can be is totally unacceptable, and Pitbull so far have refused to answer the question of why it is happening.

secondly, as said previously, 24/7 say OP66 are no longer part of the "network" so if you log in (via pitbull)with your OP66 details, are you playing OP66 ?? or pitbull?? again pitbull have failed to reply to this also, plus loads of other questions.

the same point goes for those who have not closed the lobby down, if OP66 is no longer part of the network, are you playing OP66 or pitbull ??

we need answers from them dont we

Sorry am I missing something? Logging on to OP is not possible now. To play with my OP account I have to log via Pitbull. Is this wrong? I did not need to register with them as they had all my details. I never gave any details to them.

not really bothered about the top list issue at the moment, but, the advice is always to clear cookies and cache if having bother logging in, I believe that is what most of the members will have done. Good luck to those that can still login via OP66, but we do not yet seem to have a solution for the no account found problem.

I would like to thank King Pete for sending me my Hetmans medal which I won earlier today...That game ment the same to me as any other OP66 tourny I have played..Makes no difference if there were 60 players or 30 players, its still not easy..Nando won his First gold medal yesterday in Hetmans,if that is not reconised by OP66 then Iam sure he will be very disappointed..MrCool won Wombats Yesterday and dedicated his win to a very special person in his life right now.If that win is not reconised by OP66 then you got Two people pretty low right now..When are the staff/moderators of this site going to get some common sense..

For those who can log in to op66 poker .... I'm jealous and cheers to you. This is the only site I've ever played and the only site I prefer to stay with. But I am guilty of logging in through pittbull last night as a means to play poker with familiar friends. I only provided my op66 login name and password, which I assume was already part of the pittbull network information. I will support any and all decisions made about op66 tourneys during this interim time and will celebrate with joy when I can return to op66. Sending loadz of kudos, praise and thank you's to lava and team for providing a phenominal site. Blessings to all during this frustrating time, and positive wishes for an even better op66 in the near future.
