Just kinda gettin a feel for what most people are using.....

I use the check/fold option quite often myself.....but i never realy have liked auto blinds....i normaly play them anyways its just that sence of not having controle over it i guess. Oh yeah. i never leave my "muck loosing" box checked now that i know what it does lol

Perhaps this will clarify...These buttons speed up play. Instead of waiting for your turn to come around, if you already know what you want to do, use these buttons.

CHECK/FOLD means your hand is not that great, you do not want to add chips to the pot so you would check. But, if somebody before you were to bet, you would fold.

BET/RAISE ANY means you like your chances. If nobody before you bets, you will bet. If anybody before you does bet, you will raise.

Another way to speed up play is to be sure to check the box for AUTO BLINDS. This will automatically place the blinds for you when it is your turn to ante up. A scenario where you may not want that on would be if you are planning to SIT OUT or STAND UP, or when you first enter a table and would prefer to wait until it is your turn to post the Big Blind. If you enter a table, out of turn for blinds, and this box is not checked, you will be given the option to PASS, or post BIG BLIND. Myself, if blinds are at a high level and I would only have to wait one hand before my turn to post the big blind, I would PASS. Otherwise, I usually post the big blind just to start playing. Otherwise, for courtesy, keep the box checked.

MUCK LOSING is usually kept checked. It means to hide your losing cards if you have not bet or raised on the river card. If you have bet or raised and somebody calls, your cards will be shown at the end of the hand. However, if at the end of the hand, you would like the other players to see what cards you were playing, uncheck MUCK LOSING and your cards will be shown, win or lose.

I personally think auto blinds should be mandatory.
If you don't want to play then sit out or stand up instead of making people wait while you decide if you wana pay the blinds.

Muck Loosing can be handy if theres a bully at the table cos you can let others know what cards your folding if you wana help them out

I use Muck Losing all the time and also Autoblinds. as a newbie until I am mor confident with how the game is played from a betting point of view Autoblinds allows me to concentrate on the cards I am playing rather than to me the more complex side of the game

I hope that makes sense

I always use the auto blinds to speed up the play on a table especially on a 10 player table. Also the check/fold is good to use if as Carmine555 said you know what you want to do and others players do not have wait so long.

The thing that i hate is when players wait to the last second of thier time and then fold or check!

AUTO BLINDS should not be mandatory for the reason in my post above. perhaps a programmed switch-over to AUTO BLINDS after the first response to the "PASS/BIG BLIND" option would be useful though. But I would not want to get stuck posting the big blind on the High Rollers Table just because the only seat available was out of turn for the blinds.

It should stay a personal choice thing though.

I have used all of them. It depends on what hand I have and it also makes it easier if I have to leave for a minute I know that the rest of the players are not waiting on me to get back with a cup of coffee. If you know what you are going to do with your hand they can make it very conveinent for you and the other players. I wish more players would use them especially the ones playing two or more tables.
Thy just need to make it to where you can put a maximum bid. If you don't want to bid over like 50 then you should be able to put that in. Hopefully this will be in the new script.

i totaly agree. NOTE TO LAVA a predetermined max bet and also like instead of only being able to bet the high blind when you choose "bet" being able to chose the amount your betting would be great.....but then again its a hella lot better than any online poker ive ever seen so i cant complain

I think it's faster for everybody if we all use "autoblind" becausetheir is no other choice in this case

I always use the autoblind option and sometimes check/fold if I've got a crap hand. But otherwise I don't use them. Ive turned muck losing off when I found out what it does.

when you have a really slow player it would be really useful to have auto blinds for everyone

I'm not sure to understand : You can yet choose the amount to bet by typing the desired amount in the text box designed for that.
Or you mean that could be nice to have more than one direct betting buttons with x2 or x3 the big blind?

Otherwise Carmine made a really helpfull post for everything else

When you use the bet/raise or bet button you should be able to put in what the maximum bid/raise you are willing to bet on your hand. For example; you bet All-In and I do not want to bid over 100 on my hand, I should be able to put 100 in a box so that if your all in is over my 100 bet then I automatically fold.
