why play fee poker ?

in my opinion its awful play

this site used to be proud of playing for real if free tournaments, but now its a farce

I doubt kev meant preflop... but rather calling such a reraise on the flop, with any 7 in hand, or pocket pair above 6 beating you

(not debating the reraise here )


We all do liberal calls at times and this one definitely was, so bad play yes but imho not the worse kind you see here

(and at times elsewhere too, but less so when substantial stakes are involved... to rebound on the thread's title).

I hadn't read the last part last night, just the first line and the hand unfolding. My mistake, then (but I am still quite sure he meant on the flop where he wrote preflop)

This said, calling UTG on a full table with A8 off suit is not necessarily great play either.
