With that said most people fully understand the time and effort that members put in to organise a private tourney and i can appreciate how annoying gatecrashers are but in the main they are mistakes or misunderstandings, and for the person on the end of it some remarks are not pleasant. You know, this thread (like so many before it) really has taken on a life of it's own... I go away (because of a work-related matter) for over 5 hours and what I come back to is, well, I'd say unbelievable, but sadly, around here, has become very believable.

I don't know where to start... the amount of vitriol that has already been spread is enough fertilizer for acres and acres of corn fields. I believe it was UnclePony11 who commented about a double standard? Do you think???? (sarcasm alert OFF, now). Sally's post was the most DISREPECTFUL post I've seen in some time now (and before anyone gets the wrong impression, I've known Sally on the site for a long time --- and recently, there've been some go's... and I am a compassionate person, so my heart truly goes out to her with respect to her father). But for her to DIRECTLY attack me (we all know she wasn't directing it to Telboy) in such a derogatory manner... and here's where the double-standard comes in... there are no shout-outs against her for the outburst... to the contrary, because she walks on water and is so 'connected' she is given a free pass. Yes, I call that a double-standard.

The original post by Telboy was NOT derogatory. My follow up (#2 on this thread) was NOT derogatory. Did frustration seep in? Absolutely! Do we even know that Sally is responsible for the password to the 'gatecrasher' (who was NOT named --- that part of the matter was handled privately OFFLINE)? Absolutely not. Were all members of the group asked to be careful about the password? Yes!

I want to thank several that have spoken supportively on this thread, that seemed to understand the amount of work, time and effort that went into getting this set up --- if I forget someone, I'll come back and edit it in... StJimmy and DirtyGirlie early on and later, Missy (69kindagal), thank you --- it is appreciated.

Do I feel I got slagged off? You go read post # 19 on this thread, and ask yourself how YOU would feel to have a post like that PUBLICLY directed at yourself. Then come back and post here...

I too have resigned from the group. How on earth it can every hold itself up to be about bringing the old OP66 feeling back when original members are told they arent eligible and then everyone attacking each other is beyond me.

Good luck with your group I wont disclose the password though i doubt anyone would dare ask for it after this .....
