I Was Just Thinking Back To My First Memories On This Super Site.
I Remember We Were Playing A Mini And None Of Us Had Our Own Av.
So We Decided To Think What The Site Av's Would Be In Real Life.
What A Great Laugh And Joke We Had That Day.am Sure Me Old Mate Rubix Was At The Table.

Yeah, it really is amazing, having seen it grow from the very first days..It's just a completely different site...The thing that really sticks in my mind from those days are the times when you'd be the ONLY PERSON ON. PERIOD. just sitting there thinking, "How is it possible that am the only person IN THE WORLD right now visiting this site..." hard to believe, huh?

Joined at Christmas 2007 - bobf111 and Carmine555 giving tips and encouragement. . . . . meado and Carmine campaigning to be mods.
Everyone so helpful then as now - chewy and cosi talked me into my first 500k mini tourney (i think they let me get third - but they never said )

PM keeping us all chatting at all hours - she really does have many fine qualities.

and I remember sharing that beautiful little red dress with lots of other female players for luck and because it was great fun.

Then curbcowboy "Hey! We're all playing poker, how bad can it be?" Now top players lists change regulary because so many skilled players are here.

Gotta love this place and hope everyone who left comes back and many more join us. Cheers to 'Lava and all the supers!

I should remember a couple things being its been only 2 months. I remember looking at the top lists and thinking" Im gong to be there one day" and I did it and challenging myself everyday. Different stragegys(sp?) hoping to be the first woman to win the WSOP lol we'll see! Ok memories of meeting lots of great people: MrsBobby,Decifer,Justintyme,Shea,Chevysix,Kate,Sta ka and lots of people...sorry to those I didn't mention. I remember hitting 7 million and being extremely intimadated by 500k and The mammoth and the losing all 7 mil and reseting hehe. Quite a ride guys thanks luv u all!

I remember playing my first multi tourney , think it was in March. I had not long been on the site and was intimidated by playing on the same table as Baz and Donk and wondering if it was worth investing a thousand chips to play. Donkey went ALL-IN on one of the first rounds and I called his pocket Aces .. Exit jockney.... How I laughed , but i've been addicted ever since.

i can remember when the 100k tourney was the highest you could go. Bazultra was the king and he would come to the newbies table and give advice and chat to us newbies. all players had fun and there was none of this bullying/harassement that happens now as we were here to play poker and have fun. friends were easy to come by as there were not that many on the site. Lava's signature used to say "on the road to 5500 players" look how many now. He has built a wonderful site and glad i am part of it

Yeah I remember my first game I think it was someone called jrbrown that was giving me advice as to how to play cause I had never played poker before and here I am today still playing and wow am I having fun on this site.
So thanks to Lava for creating a great site and all the supers that help keep it that way keep up the good work

My first memory was playing against Christophe and Blackwater in Omaha

One memory that sticks with me from when i first joined, i was curious as to what the multi torny tables were that said 'Observe only' so clicked on to view and saw the TheDonkey and fillero betting huge amounts of chips, and my thoughts were these guys must be pros.

Three months on i was playing on the same table as the Thedonkey and thought 'on my god i remember him he's really good!!' well, i ended up in a heads-up with him as we both was the last two, and he probably doesnt know this (he will now ) but i was cacking it. lol. I believe i won too and left me feeling like i'd beat one of the best. So i guess, because Thedonkey was an aspiration to me i'd have to say that is my best memory so far.
