my first memorie was the first nite i started playing OP66 i pretty much played all night. i had made a lot of chips do not know the exact ammount of chips. but then i losed them the same night lol. so half of it was good but then half o it wasnt

my first night on here started with me going on the newbies table not having a clue how to play then wondering what i had walked into there were a group sitting on there (you all know who you are) well as there was no chat activation in those days they all welcomed me and then we just spent the whole night playing and singing lol although if any one of us lost we would then face a 2 hour wait to get back on the table but those were the days it soon got me addicted

"only in plumbing does a flush beat a full house".........I forget which player used to tag that under their posts but it helped me remember which hands beat which...I also remember shaking in fear every time I ended up at the same table as baz....last but not least, I remember how much heat I got from some of the players for having the screen name "godblessiraq"....GREAT THREAD!!! keep it going.....peace...gbi...

And looking down that medal toplist seeing all the big numbers and hoping I'd be up there one day

Never materialised, but was fun trying, and I was glad I managed to win a tourney on the old script, scarily close to the 'change'

Also, loved the lag, and the 5% tax

OMG i remember playing you with that name,back in the day

I remember playing a hardcore allnighter when had only been on about 2 months..stayed up till about 5am with Sherman...

Joined the site to learn how to play and went to a ring table, not that I knew what that meant, to me it was just a table. One of my first lasting memories is when Ace Queen said why don't you enter a tourney. 'What's that then?" I asked.

So I entered one and was a nervous as anything lol. I was thinking oh gawd what have I done, this lot are serious players, why did I even enter. I can't remember how I did but one thing I do remember is that everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Just like they were on the ring table where we had been having a good laugh each time we played.

So that was it, I was hooked. Thanks Val lol

Ive been here over 2 years. I remember the 1st tourney I played in was Wombats, I ended up heads up and getting 2nd place, I was hooked lol. Its been a great 2 years , and I hope this site can continue on for 100 more Great times and friends here , good memories

Winning the first British Crown I entered, then a third place then another win...then a loooonnnng gap.
