Buddy List problem..?

any advice, please?
My buddy list apparently doesnt work properly.

I've followed the advice i've seen somewhere else ( sorry can't remember where) and added myself to the list.

Sometimes ( only sometimes, it seems to be random ) I dont show on my list even tho i am logged in. Have also been told by friends that I sometimes don't show on theirs either. ( these incidents coincide ).

the 'hide my presence' button is NOT ticked....

im confused ( what's new? lol ) ... any help?

I dunno what I can say to help... a bit shocked at the lack of response though. Did you post this thread in a NMTZ? (this being a coinage of mine I'm hoping will catch on Short for Non-Moderated Time Zone )

Try and bump this tomorrow if you don't get any response.

Also it's not happened to me, but then again I don't use the buddt list all that much.

Adding yourself as a buddy to your own list is a good way of keeping track of where you are! Helpful to those of us in the "older crowd"!

OK, serious answer... if you register for multiple tournies, and even tournies that are in advance (e.g., there was a freeroll that we signed up for one month in advance), this is a good way of keeping track.

Tb1rd: hehe i luv the new coinage: NMTZ but no, i actually and purposefully posted during hi-traffic times in order to increase the chances of a response. guess people were just too busy with other things.. and i know the tech forum aint the most entertaining or popular place to hang out lol.. looks like between our two 'bumps' we got someone to notice,... thanks m8.

Aus: thanks for replying. In hindsight, tho, i can see that i wasn't exactly clear when i said "I dont show on my list even tho i am logged in"... i DO show on the list, but not as online... and again, it's only randomly and sporadically.

not a HUGE deal, but obviously a glitch somewhere that i thought should be brought to light .... and......well... i think Betty was starting to fear i was avoiding her ....silly girl
