Downtime Information on Accessing site

I have just checked the pitbull side of the site and on its opening page it says the site is down as it is changing servers.

Could we not have something like this when we first get on to OP66 it would be a lot more helpful than the Updates (latest was 10 hours ago) and could mean a lot less frustration being taken out in the chatroom and the forum.

It shouldnt be that much more complicated to give out outlaws info on the same page as the poker and surely it would cause a lot less hassle for everyone in the long run especially 24/7 and the mods.

you could still access the forum/chat room as normal , just a note on the log in page telling you that poker is down is needed.

i reckon that should be automatic cuddy...if only to stop us all from sitting and waiting. we've sat here for 3 days now, would have been far better if they'd have just said 'the site will be down for the next 3 days'...at least we'd know...

OK, so you want a notice installed on the login page to let you know the site is experiencing difficulties or would you rather have the techs work on the issue(s) that are causing the problem? I prefer the latter of the two.

Very true Bass and I am not for one minute that they do this now at the expense of sorting out the problem , but this has been suggested on several occasions now and once set up I would think, would just needs someone to turn it on, rather that 24/7 dealing with hundreds of seperate enquiries every time there are problems.

i think bass was very abrupt,it says a lot that ppl want to access the site and play poker and are curious as to why they cant,i think we all know how hard the tech guys are working to get it up and running but to see it when they log on would help,just my opinion for what its worth.

Well for what it is worth I just checked with the techs and they are saying they hope to have the site back up in the next few hours - we shall see. Wish I had better news, or even speculation, but that is the best I can get without getting on a plane and flying over to see what is really happening. Please hang on, I am having withdrawal too......

can anybody explain why this is the only poker site being repeatedly attacked........i left a few weeks ago and found a new site where i can play 24/7 without interuption .........I ASKED THIS QUESTION 2 HRS AGO AND IT WAS DELETED
