Experiencing LAG

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for a fantastic site. I honestly love playing here, and I spend waaaaaay too much time on it as well....

I don't know if I am the only one to experience this, but I can't play at the moment because the tables take too long to load and my hands get folded for me because I am timing out.

I had a good look at my connection, and even though I live in deep dark Africa, I have a 1MB connection. I download from Rapidshare (without an account) regularly at speeds greater than 80KB/s... and no, not while I am playing poker.

I use Firefox 2.0.0.14

Any ideas or help anyone? Am I the only person experiencing this?

I'm having same problem...tourney pages taking too long to load or stalling with white screen etc...started yesterday after tourney window changes...never had problems before with this...any ideas?

ive experienced the odd problem when everything can slow right down, its annoying if its only a few seconds lag, but more of a pain if its longer cos it affects your timing when playing. ive been folded out of hands when ive checked but the timer just continues to count down. ive read somewhere that pressing F5 refreshes the table, if i do this when someone is on the waiting list will i lose my seat at the table?

Yep!...Since the change I've noticed a few glitches...Some of us today had our hands folded for us when we called!...Bummer!...Though I wouldve lost anyway!...

Think it'll be a while before the systems as good as it seemed to be prior to the change earlier this week, but I hope they can sort them out?...Please?..Sox

Those lags come from actual network provider issues since a few days, it should be fixed soon.
Nothing to see with the new tables or server, sorry can't do many, if it still like that in a few days I'll perhaps change the hosting but it is not the easier choice for sure.

by the way for all those who have lags : Aren't you having slow loading on forum and/or free side html lobby refresh too?

i get some lag from time 2 time..espesially at peak hours..always have 2 refresh

yes all pages slow too load/or dont load at the moment Lava..if that helps

yes, i m lagging too,
even if it should be fixed soon,
the best is to close the maximum of windows(to close and open for refresh the poker room sometimes), to not downloading (on emule for exemple) in same time

yer the sight sometimes goes down on mine but that might be because that i am wireless otherwise it is because the room server goes down
