| Help please.. When opening a table server, how many people have clicked java update, only to find that the latest version, and update is already installed after downloading the so-called newer version. The notification reads.. "This applet requires a newer version of java" Newer than what? I think the notification is misleading. besides, how many people know exactly what version they have. Is this notification Java originated, or website originated. |

| This is often the result of having multiple versions of java on your machine. When you udate or upgrad java it does not always remove previous versions. You can choose to ignore it, go to control panel (in Windows) and then installed programs in Control Panel and remove the older versions or go to installed items (In IE) and remove the old ones there.
