Medals/points/toplists ~ Updated - Please read

As many of you know the 2010 toplists, medals and points issue has been resolved and updated and quagan has updared 2011 year so far and they will auto update from now on.

The issue as I said in the medals and points thread was a combination of things that occurred through november and december, it started with some tourneys being awarded to the wrong tourneys, while some didnt. Then the auto reward stopped working altogether. Whilst it seemed a simple matter to fix, it was not, and because the toplists are important to most of us, it had to be done correctly.

So what we did was go right back to the start of 2010 and manually award every tourney from every day with the correct medals and points. This had to be done for all results to be correct for everyone.

Now some of you have posted that you are missing medals/points, whilst others seem correct, what we found due to some auto reward issues during the year there were some tourneys that had been double awarded when the auto reward was restarted, this usually happened when the next months tourneys had not been set up by the tounrney manager which triggered a bug in updates.

So what we have now is a true full year update and one that is correct, every result was manually recorded by Quagan and myself.

This will now reflect to some as missing medals/points but unfortunately that is not the case...I am sorry if this sounds long winded but was the easiest way to explain it for Quagan

Thank you all for the hard work.........however, is it just me but I still have the medal for the mammoth (silver ) hehe when it should be for hetmans.

Ok Sym, even though that medal was showing on your stat page, your total number of tourney medals was correct, but because you had not actually played a mammoth it did not auto refresh your stats..but we have done that now manually. The silver had been added to hets. Stats now refreshed.

well i really do appreciate your efforts here so I guess we will start fresh even though I still think i am missing two medals, a silver in the mammoth Nov27 and a gold in the NY on Jan 9th. My total did change by one so I gather u just recorded the gold in the mammoth yesterday. But thanks for all the hard work to rectify this and now we move forward. xxx
