Arrow New multi-windows issues & bug : Only here!

Hi all,

there are too many threads about bugs & issues about the new multi-windows system.
So please describe your exact problems here including each time your internet browser and operating system (example : Internet explorer 6, windows xp - or firefox 3 - windows vista).

Thanks, only that thread is the official one in order to keep a clear list.

'Lava

If you got problems on this: In order to debug, you should:

-Upgrade your flash player to latest version (important!) http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash
-Clean your computer (from spywares) with ad-aware http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-200...-10045910.html
-Purge your old temp internet files (you could use cccleaner)
-Update your browser (IE, firefox.)

Then If you still get problems. Check you CPU usage (tasks manager) to see if it's usins 100% of CPU
And Please enter your operating system (win xp, vista?), internet browser (internet explorer 6, ie7? firefox 3?), kind of computer (old or recent)

nb:This could also ameliorate the whole reactivity of some polluated computers from non computer's addicts

windows xp

a lot slower than before, and the typing issue is really slow, plus the fact you are missing half your words....playing 2 tables is def a no no at the moment.

tried to play koth and a tourny last night, went to close one window down and it shut the whole lot down, then logged back on and it wouldnt let me on koth or back into my tourny. tried it again, same thing, in the end could not play poker at all.

windows xp

Ok Patience : you are using windows xp but with internet explorer 6, 7 or firefox (2 or 3?)? Could help.

When you've closed the window, have you closed the table window or the lobby? When retrying to join the table what happened then? double clicking on your table on the list was no effect? Have you tried to close the lobby too and relaunch it?

Thanks, all additional details will help solving those bugs.

Shaun & AceQueen please specify your internet browsers too, thanks.

In case you are experiencing lags could you please add in addition the age/cpu of your computer (or just say "very recent one", "old 7 years one"...).

Quick note...have noticed with chat on table that when your typing, the cursor disappears when cards are being dealt...so if you are in the middle of typing when cards are being dealt you get missing words and letters...you then need to click on chat box again to fix/finish sentence. Hope this helps

don't understand your bug about bigtourney rockdivad, could you describe me with more details what you've try to do to join again?

1) big tourney windows crashed (closed?) but lobby one was still opened?

2) afterward in order to join again you've relaunched lobby and selected the big tournament you are in, was it working at this level or the tournament popup were yet impossible to open? If (or "when you've finally opened the tourney window") it was a problem afterward, were you seeing the table listing with players on each tables in the tournament window? What happened when clicking on a table there then?

Thanks for all those additional details, will help.

I have Windows XP

I was playing in the British crown last night and was also reg ed for the million tourney an hour later. Then the 5 min break came on after an hour play on the British crown, at the same time the Million tourney started, I played a few hands on the million and waited for the British crown to restart, it didn't the table froze, I tryed from the lobby to re-enter a number of times, nothing I could get to the lobby and tourney page, but not the tourney.

I did all the usual things and also logged in right from the start many times
At one point a pop up bar came up saying pop ups not allowed then disappeared. I have allowed pop ups for months so don't know were that came from.
It took me at least twenty mins to get back to the British crown, by which time as the blinds are so big all but 200 and odd chips had gone, so I finished 16th.

Because I'd had to log in and out loads of time I was also having trouble getting to the Million table as well, I could get as far as the tourney lobby but no further.

It took me 45 mins to get back to the Million and all the colors were muddy brown, I had chips left luckily I manged to do well.

While still playing in the million I joined the invite tourney which I play most nights and is great fun. I clicked the option you told us to use so not to miss our turn
when on multiple tables, what a nightmare really hard to use due to the fact, you could be betting/ folding/ checking and the other table will pop up so you could do tHe wrong thing on The wrong table it happens so fast.

When I was playing on the invite tourney the chat was ok at first but by the time it was the last 2 it was at least 5 mins behind so couldn't use.
All in all totally mixed up.

1 The lobby was still open yes

2 I could only get as far as the tourney lobby.

link for Patience08 : http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-200...-10045910.html (anti-spyware)
Other players can test that too...

checked and many got classic configurations so that could come from a spyware, download that free program and scan your computer then select remove if it finds something.

(Reading your long message asap rockdivad)

Windows Vista IE7 3 months old.
Since changes introduced yesterday I am experiencing problems similar to Shauns....chat boxes do not register all typing, letters missed out and really slow to register in chat box. Table play lurches between really slow....using time bank when I have already called/folded or really fast....speeded up so I can't follow what is happening!!!
Lava - can't u just undo changes introduced yesterday.....sorry....very simplistic view!!!
