New Poker Software - What features do you want?

Will we be getting the Newbie tables back and the tutorials that used to happen....

A lot of people (including myself) learned poker on those tables and it made OP66 special....

Also the invitational tourney table - will that be back?

i have noticed when i try and list the tables by "stakes" they never actually list in the correct "stake" order hi to low or low to hi..

would be a big help if they did..

i have a few suggestions,
1) make the new tables look the same as the old tables.
2) make anouther 'all in' table.
3) make a option to show the little box that tells you your hand.

I know many things have been mentioned before so I will try not to do that, but here is my list of things id like to see added/changed.

Slider/enter bet box - the slider needs to be more sensitive on the bigger tables in order to bet smaller amounts. I noticed that u can type in ur bet but the box is soooo small its hard to see what u are doing anyways.

The banking system - having to sit out till the table decides to remove you is madness. And if u don't, when u return to that table, even days later, you automatically have to enter with that amount. Pls Pls change this.

Tabbed windows - in order for me(and many others)to play multi tables at one time we need separate windows.

The lobby - it would be nice to see if a sit & go(mini tourney)is single stacked or double stacked without actually havin to open the table. I know its a small quirk, but it really is a waste of time and would make the flow of the script a little more seamless and user friendly IMHO.

The lobby cont'd - noticed that the stakes do not actually flow in chronological order. Again, small quirk but would make finding one's desired table much easier.

More lobby - sometimes its hard to see what tables are occupied. Maybe bold or highlight some the ones that are.

Waiting list and/or rebuy limit on ring tables

Finding players - I really don't know the possibility of this but maybe a search tool to see what tables ur friends or fav competitors are at. Maybe thats asking too much and i apologize if it is. But i thought id ask.

Everything else - all the bells and whistles like avatars and off table chat etc.

Hello Guys, Me not being a techno geek, I at least have a small amount of knowledge about computer graphics & software. so if I understsnd this correctly, you are telling us that you can't re-create the old free side system on the new servers. YES? /NO? I find this incredably hard to believe. The graphics,sounds & features can't be that hard to duplicate on the new servers. And why didn't you develope & test this new software in the lab (so to speak)before you droped it on us? So why don't you tell us whats really going on here.

You can't copy graphics like that, it is far more complex than that...
We were having since weeks more and more lags on old script and more and more bandwitch usage : Even if I could have fixed things the server would have hitted some limits soon. If the community wants to experience more lags on friday we'll see what we could do and we'll take care of that point offcourse! Meaning a way back to old script is allways possible.
The old script costs one licence price per CPU, which means an expensive scalability, the new is done for scalability and I'm having a far more direct contact with the coder team than before.
I'm sorry for the brutal change you have all suffered but there was a discussion about that 2 days before the move & even a poll : Who would like to tryu a test of real money script?

I've read all messages in this thread and all messages from the "unhappy" thread, everything is listed and we are actually discussing all single idea.
90% of the features should be added without any problem. I'll have a better timeline asap.

The sorting/organization of the sit-n-go's needs to be looked at. Now that all the omaha tables have been added, it is hard to see which ones I would even consider joining (if anyone was on them). I assume that people will begin to come and play them, and if they do, the sorting becomes pretty important to know which ones you might want to join on.


Just found that you can sort yourself by clicking on the column at the top you want to sort by

Can there be a sub-list under sit-n-gos like there is under each of the other categories so that if we just want texas, we don't have to see the omaha tables. This will also help when turbos and ultras are added.

Avatars are planned yes, but all graphic work need more time because everything is using vectors on new script (scalable without pixelizing).
I'v writed down all graphics queries and we will see on the long run, it's like the old script : Much harder to modify.

BUT check the first page of that thread, you can yourself yet customized carpet color and a few other things in the lobby! Feel free to use the skin creator and forward us results.

I think the chatbox should be a bit bigger.

The system resolves everything a bit too fast, as I mentioned earlier (especially after the river). I think it is damageable to the game because you can not calculate pot odds or analyze betting patterns retrospectively. Big problem for me.

People should be kicked out after a certain number of hands sitting out. Played a mini yesterday, and someone was not playing at all and was still in when there were 5 players left. He might just have made it into the money!

I thought of some other stuff, but can't recall right now. Senility + a few beers last night lol.

I agree about chatbox, it should have space for at least 20% larger one.

The pause need at least 2 more seconds, checking if the script could handle a different pause on different tables.

About Players seated and not playing, the old script was having a special setup to please players but the real poker rule is respected here : You can play no hand and finish in the points.
Some big players are used to come late in the tournaments to have more sleep and make a special psychological effect on players : Their blinds are just skipped.

Hey guys, as mentioned by Jedi earlier, is it possible to get some more high roller tables. With so many players on now, it takes forever to get on KOTH. If you could add another couple, I'm sure they would be full. Thanks.
