No call buttons for the flashers

Even though our hero brought NY to us tonight (ty Kev), for the first time ever as a flasher I have no call buttons. It truly is not much fun to see good hands that get autofolded because of missing buttons. Can someone please fix the bug in the flash version or at least let me know it is not working so I don't waste my free chippies. I do hope this can be resolved.

star if that is what happened to you in the tourney maybe we should have a do over... you could not possibly play with no buttons...i will post this on the tourney thread....

Arezzo, I was able to log out and had buttons once I returned. So, was just unfortunate that good starting hands could not be played. Has been downhill the rest of the the night, as I cannot play at all now ( Hope it can be fixed.

Just wondering if the " no button " situation with flash on the OP66 tourneys has been remedied ? .
It has been about 2 weeks and I wouldn't mind being able to play .....

kp, I'm on flash and have my buttons back. I rebooted my machine, cleared all cookies and files, and uploaded the most current version of flash. While I do not have any "show" buttons, get booted a lot, and do not see a lot of names at times, I am able to play. I think the uploading of the most current flash version is actually what made it work. Hope it will work for you too.

The problem was reported, twice, but techs say its working fine, I can only suggest that you try what SS has said above, let us know how that goes. I have tried it myself and it seems much better than it was previously, but I'm not a mac user, so I cannot not speak for them.

hmmm...I wish i could even get IN to the lobby to register to even SEE if i've got action buttons..

but, my experience has shown any progress at all.
I have followed any and all suggestions from 24/7 and elsewhere:

-latest version of flash
-latest version of Safari Browser
-downloaded Firefox but it doesnt seem to work on either of my MACS for some reason ( but have seen that other members using Firefox still have no action buttons , so even it i COULD get firefox to work it doesnt seem like that would be any improvement ) .. and yes, i have tried every 'trick' suggested to get Firefox to work ...
-Numerous emails to 24/7 have gone either un-replied to or replied to with erroneous information ( ie: our software does not work on Safari version less than 4.0..... but i am currently running 4.0.5 )

It is starting to appear more and more that this may indeed be a MAC - specific issue....

I have currently 2 messages in to 24/7 that have not been replied to in 3-4 days.


- i wonder why the techs are saying it's fine when they have outstanding tickets ( from me, for instance ) that CLEARLY show that it's not?

godzilla: i am using flash on a MAC using safari 4.0.5 browser. When i try to load the lobby ( click HERE to continue and start playing ) the window goes white ( as normal ) then about halfway thru loading prerequisites it freezes and i get an error message " error #2130 "
godzilla: there are ALSO other players using firefox who CAN get into lobby and register for games, but once game starts they find that they have no 'action buttons'.... ie- cannot bet, fold, call, or raise at all

tonight for titans I had no buttons again. After twice clearingc ookies/files and rebooting, I found if I only logged in thru the left most button "poker", instant play no download, the buttons appeared. Strange as it is, it worked. So for my fellow flashers, give it a try. xxx

thanks for the tip, SapphireStar. I hadn't tried that one yet.
unfortunately, tho, it made no difference for me ( other than seeing the error message in a full sized window instead of the usual small one lol ).

gee, it seems that threatening to remove my cash got their attention. lol
this morning woke up to 3 emails from tech.
after following this advice, i can now actually get in the lobby.

I have spoken with the technical department and they have said the following:

"Error message #2130 - this can happen when the user's flash player is unable to store loaded settings.. If the problem persists, ask the user to right click on this error message, select settings, then Local storage tab and move the slider a little bit to the right..."

i wont be able to test whether or not i actually can PLAY ( ie- if there will be buttons ) until Wombatz tonite, but this DID resolve my problem about getting into the lobby.

odd, tho, how this goes directly against the advice i was given when this whole mess started, and also how it took 2 weeks for them to figure out such an apparently simple fix, but ah well.. there i am.

they also sent this in response to me telling them about the missing buttons:


You also mentioned that some other players open up the flash client in Firefox and cannot use some of the buttons.

This was also passed to technical department who have responded on this.

They have tested the practice chip tables and cannot replicate the problem, therefore they are asking for the following information

- which type of game they get this; is it all games or certain games

- if it is certain games which games please

- is the problem still happening

I know this is not the issue you were experiencing, and any other player experiencing issues should contact us directly where we will pass their issues to technical department for their advice

mrc......might be worth following the path sapph took to get in....when she first sat at table at the start of titans last night she had no buttons.....after several logging out and back in again she still had no buttons until she tried the path outlined above....

Wish it worked for ya'll and so sorry it doesn't. Worked again tonight when I first had no buttons on NY. It is a shame that there are so many problems with flash .. I hope they will be resolved soon.

i was able to enter forum & register for wombatz tonite.
once the game started tho, i had no buttons
could see everything else: chat, avatars, other players' actions, my cards.. but couldn't play.

after logging out and in a few times i was finally able to get back in and actually play.

went to 24/7 during it all, tho... and not only did they act like this was the first time they had heard of this problem, she actually tried to tell me that IT WAS MY INTERNET CONNECTION that was causing my buttons to disappear. " when i went to the table i could see that u were disconnected but all the other players were fine,,, it must be your connection"... DUH!! i was disconnected because i was logging out and in to try to fix the dam problem! ... if my friggin connection is down why can i see everything else going on at the table?? absolutely DISGUSTED with the poor level of service and help those monkeys are providing.

update... just entered $50 gtd game and had no problems whatsoever playing.... ( other than the dam cards sucking lol )

i guess my internet connection got better suddenly lol ....
