BabyBum, Click your START button, go to ALL PROGRAMS / ACCESSORIES / SYSTEM TOOLS / SYSTEM RESTORE
Your computer automatically saves system settings occassionally, and you will be able to choose a point in time to go back to.
I feel your pain people, I am going through the same troubles for 3 days now. I get as far as a blank table with no chairs and message saying "CONNECTING TO SERVER". I have also cleared internet files and cookies, downloaded the latest Adobe Flash Player..... I know ToweringTexan has stated to also Right-Click on NETWORK ICON on task bar, and choose REPAIR to re-set IP Address. My problem there is that I don't seem to have a network icon on my task bar, and I have no clue where to look for such a thing. Does anybody have advice on that? Other than that, the only thing I have not tried is switching from IE to Firefox, but as I understand it, Firefox users are having the same problem. All help is good help.

Carmine, Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Network Settings

Right click your active network connection and REPAIR should be an option. You may also want to try the macromedia version of Flash player.

lapatio the DNS problem could just be the way your network is set up and to do with your router, i wouldn't worry about it so much. Are you still getting no connection lapatio?
