Stopped

keep getting "STOPPED" at bottom left hand side of browser when i load pages today, where it normally goes thru the advertising sites loading

not doing it on any other website just this,so dont think its my firewall, have to close browser window and re open, its really annoying

Hmm not having that issue with IE, check your spam / firewall settings, the new ads may be causing the issue depending on how tight you have the settings.

using firefox btw, yes setting are set quite high, but always have been and never had a prob b4, is not everytime i load a page but quite regular, maybe its 1 perticular add thats giving me trouble

some of my pages are freezing on op66 too m8 i have to close and log in again as well

ive not been locking up, but at time its slow loading for the page, think it happens mainly with the flashing adds

ahhh it just happened again but i tried refreshing the page then clicking on the new post link and that worked ok

Yes, well no sooner had I posted then it started happening to me too. I will PM Lava to check into it on the back end.

loads of probs with loading and slow pages since flashing ads put on!!
i thought it was my pc cos no probs before these things came on here to OP!

Lava indicated that it may be an issue with the new banner ads, but should be resolved.

i'm still getting the stopped now and again, but am concerned with all the different websites listed at bottom saying collecting data and transfering data.

what data are they collecting/transfering ?? and is it from/too my comp ??

If your using firefox and you are getting annoyed by adverts on any website, try a add-on called "adblock plus", works like a dream for me
