People having bugs : http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ please forward your flash version to this thread (copy your version number here, for example I have 9,0,47 myself)
a few bugs could came from a non uptodate flash version!
You can update flash here : http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html for free offcourse!

-Try to use Firefox if using Internet explorer, try using Internet explorer if using Firefox!
-clear your temporary files, clear your cookies (tools=>internet options=>...), reboot your computer
-Setup your security to "medium" in internet explorer and/or firefox

I had been playing for around 4 weeks without any major problems, sometimes the chips don't clear and I've seen the 'sitting out' message against players, but nothing that has caused me to lose chips ( apart from my own poor play !!).
However, the last 2 or 3 days, I have tried to join mini tourney tables when they are registering, and the initial window has opened, with a burgundy background, but it has not gone on to bring the table up and allow me to register. Usually this has happened after a couple of hours of uninterrupted play.
I've tried rebooting and clearing temporary internet stuff but it seems to make no difference. Walk away from the machine for an hour or 2 and everything is back to normal, mildly frustrating but nothing more. Any tips ?

Normally I would suggest checking your Flash version for upgrade, however you have listed a few elements that are out of character. The burgundy background on the tables window is a new on, usually I hear white.

Check to see what other programs are running. Depending on your environment you could have a firewall or spam blocker checking the site as a result of clearing your cache, which can take a while for each new table that is opened and checked.

The other thing is that if you leave the machine alone for a while things seem to be fine. Systems do not routinely fix themselves. Maybe you have automatic updates turned on in either the operating system or a virus scanner and a new download results in slow loading as it rechecks the site.

If this continues please give me more technical information on your environment and perhaps that will lend a clue.

Often times the easiest answer is to close the window and re-open it. Seems funny but that does make a difference as to how system resources are allocated.

Tex
