Updater program block or not?

When I load poker game my Firewall informs me that an 'updater' program is trying to access the internet/network.
My current settings block this program.
Is this updater.exe?
Should I allow this program?
Is this program connected to the poker game?
Is it safe?
By constantly blocking this program I am still able to play poker ok so I do not know what good (if any) it would do by allowing it.
Has anybody got any ideas on what to do?
Should I allow it or keep blocking it?
Help please!!!!!!!!!

i would say keep it blocked for now,at least until blacklava can confirm it is part of the poker program,with a file title like updater.exe i would be cautious to,never know what it might be.
Have you tried doing a search on your computer for updater.exe to see if it is in the onlinepoker66 program folder?im just searching for it now

No Lfcfan I haven't done a search....I'm not sure how to do that!
Not very computer literate I'm afraid.
I'll keep it blocked for now until lava or a mod can advise.

it seems so but to do your own search click the "start" button.
search option should be on the right hand side of the start menu,under "help and support".
In the "search for files or folder named" type updater.exe
After it has completed its search,if it comes up with programs you recognise and trust then it should be ok.
let me know what programs it comes up with in your search

yes it does appear to be in the onlinepoker66 folder just like your screenshot above LfcFan. So I guess it will be ok to allow.
