urgent help needed

instaled ad aware yesterday everythink was good
today i am getting two messages what do i need to do
first message java(tm)plug-in fatal error
several java vitual machinesrunning in same process caused an error
checked java i am up to date
message two windows has blocked this software because it cant verify publisher
i am new to computers any help please

yes mine says please verify that the package exsits and contact program administrator ??

Tel, I haven't used the program you are talking about, but if it is causing problems you can uninstall it and everything should go back to the way it was. If that doesn't work, and you are running Windows XP, you could always go back to an old system restore point ( I would guess Vista has this feature also ).

If you really want to keep the program on your machine, then I am not sure what you need to do. I'd be happy to talk you through uninstalling or going back to a previous system restore point, feel free to PM me ( though I don't check my messages all that often, lol ).

thanks m8 i shut everything down gave it another clean tried again and it seems ok any probs i will give you that pm cheers

The multiple java engine error is not uncommon. If you are running, for example, an instant messenger program, an Internet phone software and a browser at the same time, often when you try to launch the tables or chat window you will see the java error. Best answer is to shut everything down and then restart the machine to clear the memory. After that it will be in the order that they are loaded. Many windows developers do not release resources properly after their program closes so often times memory is not freed and processes like java are left running in the background.

I installed ad aware earlier today, i found me comp went much slower..and me java needed updating..as i wouldnt let me into chat room without doing it....i no nothin about comps either...but i have uninstalled it ands its gone back to as before......
