W.T.Heck ? add-on failure

howdy folks
i am writing this thread to see if anyone else has ever and or recently seen what i just experienced-anyone else ? i'll complain later.

i entered a re-but and add-on tourny ,, $5.oo ,, 18 total players * 1,000 chip starting stack*
after an hour we were down to 11 players and myself and player next to me (giveupleasere)were doing good,,others players had 350 chips ,, a few less than 900 with 150/300 blinds,,
i had about2,800 doing well in 3rd or 4th.--on my right(giveuplesure) they had 4,400(chip leader then i believe,,and 350 ,,about to go out on my left,,,
we break and add on is available,,i did add on as did whole field of 11 players left.
i screenshotted it,,,add on is 1,500 chips,,,,,,
guess what , we all recieve 150,000 chips for our re-buy
---horrible failure----
now the whole field just got leveled
4,000 chips is no differnce at all now,,,154,400 chips is now about the same as 150,350 chips
CRAZY !!!!!
qall 11 of us lost our advantage and essentially started over with our chip stack,,,
due to my incredibale skills i did finish 1st ,,,but wow me and giveuplesure , did same thing worked our way through whole field,,, is pretty good,,whach if ya play em'
so i left my complaint box open in my thread,,,i don't think this is op66,,i was only op66 player in tourny i think,,it was site,,, any thoughts ,,anyone seen this ????

A couple of thoughts spring to mind:

1. Wow!
2. Great job finishing 1st
3. Damn good thing you did the add-on!!!

These are the things, though, that make you go... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I wonder when this occurred, relative to something I saw this morning... the forum was completely unaccessible for a short period of time... though the tables were still accessible... which leads me to believe that there's no correlation. But stranger things have happened.

Again, congrats on the 1st place finish!

it ended about 4-5 hours before this note,,it's on my screen shot,,and i think one person didnt rebuy ,got stuck with about 2,000 chips ,finished 11th,,and thxxs,,it was like fighting my way up twice,,and 2nd place person did same sat next to me all game,,there pretty good

i got first and ran away,,, i never contacted anyone,,took like 4-or 5 hours,,18 players

I sure as hell hope the person who did NOT rebuy contacts 24/7... and gets a buy-in refund --- only justice in that case...

i won this tourny,,,the hard way,,twice had to go through whole field,. i have a thread in tecnical issues
i contacted 24/7 support to see if this massive add-on mistake is gonna contine,,,
among other things , i was told to check the add on amount before i enter a tourny
i did and i screenshot-ed it too , so i have proof,,,. they then say they will look into it.
i won ,dont want a refund,,but was way harder and other players got really hit by the 150,000 chip add on
can any mods here look into this,,any players that play re-buys or play,,should be concered

From what I see of the chat PP, the agent has confirmed that they will double check all rebuy amounts before the games hit the lobby. It looks like the rebuy amount of 1500 chips was a programming typo error with too many zeros added.

read my screenshot , it clearly says 1,500 chips add-on .
no tourny have a 1000 percent add to starting chip stack
which still doesnt adress that before add on 4,400 chips was 16 times higher than lo guy
after, it was .ooo somthing differnece.
remember i won it ,through adverse completly bogus conditions,.
leveling the playing field like that is an oblious error on systems part,.

Dorota was saying they would check all the future games before they hit they lobby to make sure the bug would not happen again, she wasn't blaming you. even though it says 1500 add on in the game lobby, too many zeros in the code gave 150,000 chips, thats what she means the techs will check.

zero's are very important in poker
i was waiting over 20 minutes to be told that
-again- i won the tourny ,,,fine check for in the future,,,what about what happened ?
all 18 who entered had the entire game changed and not in a small way...
it won't be addressed ezcept to say we'll look for in the future,,, how many times have i seen people post with no screenshot about loseing hands they won ?????????

I'm glad you have screenshots I would email all the screenshots to support and if I were you, even though you won the game, I would still ask for a refund.

i m not worried about refund for me,, and no other op66 players we're in it (i think)
ive played re-buy add-ons and never had this happen and knew it wasn't op66 , just odd.

Well done on your win PP Im sure that with the help of your screenshots, 24/7 would of adressed the error and took the appropriate action. Im sure all concerned would of been notified and rightly compensated. Steve.
