chat on cash tables?

outlaws is an op66 tourney and only op66 members can play, so chat will show,unlike other cash tables which are shared with other on the network and blocked

...I play the cash side with people from other networks...they can and do talk...one particular time a couple weeks ago one of these people used MAJOR profanity, racial and ethnic slurs to me...I reported him to 24/7 immediately the only thing that was done is a 7 day chat ban...I informed a mod but unfortunately there was nothing he could do...on a good note I kicked his butt!!

Arezzo, I'm shocked that 24/7 did very little to help you....... re Major profanity and racial and ethnic slurs.

It makes it look as if the site condones this kind of behaviour.

Did you manage to send the Hand history to them ..........they seem to ask for this whatever you complain about.

Yes sym they had the complete Hand history... And I like you was shocked but apparently if it's your first offense you can get away with just about anything. He was also stating what cards he was holding and since there was another person at the table from the same place I took that as a blatant form of cheating and informed 24/7 of that also.... Apparently that's ok too... I never mentioned this persons name but since he's not a member of op66 would it be ok too? Then when he does it again others will be aware and maybe something will be done then....

The same as Tel, I thought OP player chat and other network player chat was only visible to each respective network, but I have seen and chatted to other network players on money tables. Not often but on the odd occasion. Seems to be a bit erratic.

As for the response to the documented abuse Arezzo mentions.............doesn't surprise me one bit. There's been several instances of inappropriate responses to rule breakers on here. And to non rule breakers now I think about it !

The system is set up to block chats by network and language. I think it is only by language on the cash side, so if someone is registered as a US player, with English, their chat would be able to be seen. This is a recent change that I am checking into, but on the play chips side it is ONLY OP66 chat, ring or tourney and some tournaments are only for us.

As for any chat issue you may have on the cash side, if 24/7 does not do enough in your opinion, we can address that with them directly, just let a mod know and we can check into it.
