{Administrative note: I am cut-n-pasting this response into both threads--- a congratulation thread that Cuddy started for me following the Freeroll 2nd Place finish, as well as the Freeroll thread that was already running}.

I dont't know what to say or where to begin! For all the well wishes and the congratulations, THANK YOU!

OP66 has gone through it's share of bumps-n-bruises, but the caliber of our community is beyond compare!

My "run" started one night earlier, when I won Gold at the NY Times for the very first time. I was stoked --- it was great to win it, but it also drew me to within one of the coveted OP66 Grand Slam, with the lone remaining tournament being Hetmans (Look out, I'm coming! ).

That alone would've been enough to "make my day"... but I started a run this evening that ran straight through my night! It started with this Freeroll, the $1,000 Guaranteed, with 472 very worthy entrants, including a strong contingent from OP66 (we have 3 in the Top 14!!!). Bobble and I were on the first table together, and it was weird, as there were only 3 or 4 of us playing and the other hands folding... we each got about a 4 or 5,000 stack before being moved.

As the tournament wore on, the list of supporters behind me and the others was growing stronger... I missed an entire contingent of well-wishers who were sharing encouragement right on the table in the chat window! Why? Because I also had an incredible bunch going strong in the OP66 chat forum, which I had open! And to boot, I was getting support coming from MSN! And.... I was trying to play the game! What a rush! It was a long game ----- well over three hours to complete as we sat through 3 hourly game breaks! In the end, I was able to proudly claim 2nd place overall, with a very nice cash prize of $150 USD!!! Woop woop!!!

I won't start dropping names here because I would only end up forgetting someone dear ------ thank you! At the end of that Freeroll, between the OP66 chat, the Forum, and MSN, I was reduced to a puddle ---- it was an incredibly emotional moment, one that I will remember and cherish, and wish for all you dear friends!

So was that enough?

Nope... almost immediately after, a game formed on the S&G, the $50,000 Twisted... myself, Rubix, Cuddy, Pam, Funky, T-Bird --- I was surrounded by an All-Star cast! Fueled from the energy of the Freeroll, I had the most amazing run in the Twisted... one by one, I was able to eliminate every one of the rascals!!!!!! Cuddy being the last, as the NY Times was already geting ready to start! What a fun tourney that was.

The NY Times? The one I won Gold in last night? It would be my third in a row this evening, of back-to-back-to-back poker! What an incredible tourney that would unfold. After a bit of a slow start, I slowly amaased a nice stack and was methodically making my way through the field. And on to a star-studded final table... Mr Slick, another VERY strong performance, coming in 4th place... ZsaZsa, who nicked me several times with great calls, claiming the Bronze. Roly, who went with me heads up, claiming the Silver. And for the second night in a row, I was able to claim the NY Gold!

What a night of poker! More importantly, what an incredible night of comradarie among the very best of poker friends! For all the incredible show of support, THANK YOU!
