Default Higher Stakes

Kind of a rant, but it's really annoying not being able to play in the more costly SNG's because no one is in them. Plenty of people play in the penny ones, but you are not going to grow a bang roll playing for peanuts. I'd just like to encourage everyone that if your winning on the cheaper SNG's most likely you'll win on the dollar, 5 dollar, 20 dollar (me lol). So please, widen your horizons, I'd love to take your cash

I've played in maybe 5 total $5 or $10 before. They do happen. They just take awhile to fill up. And the $1 $2 happen relatively often, esp if you initiate by sitting in. But yeah, nowhere near the amount of penny players.

Sit n Goes in general just suck at filling up. Gone Fishin' is the only person ever sitting in the play chip side when I check.

Maybe the penny players are sticking to their bank roll rules and haven't accumulated enough yet to enter the higher ones? But I get your point, there will still be plenty of players on here who could enter without breaking their rules. I'm not one of them by the way, but maybe in the future lol

Good point. $5 doesn't break my rules, but $10 is pushing it. Anything more is out. But then that begs the question is everyone just swapping pennies around or is there anyone actually winning? Eventually you have to move up if you're winning, right?

I know some just simply can't afford it, and I don't recommend playing in a5 dollar tourney if your whole roll is 5 dollars. But if you're winning the penny ones, have enough to play the higher stakes but are scared that you'll lose too much, trust me, you won't. Things may be a wee different from penny games to 5 dollar ones, but poker is poker and if you're a solid player you can win.
