Angry how bout some courtesy

i was just in one of the $1 double up tourneys when we get down to 3 players (we all have won) 1 player instead of being courteous & going allin so we all can move on 2 the next game hits the post & fold button so i get to sit there for 20 mins for no reason! just plain rude he knows who he is & if he does it again i will name him but he wont have the chance cause i will never go near a table with him on it again very rude! hope he lost the next tourney he was in such a hurry 2 get to!

Certainly it is customary to go all in in these games to get it over with quickly (once it gets to that point).

But I don't understand why you sat there for 20 minutes. You knew you had won, so you could have hit post and fold too. It wouldn't have changed the amount that you won.

Perhaps the player in question lost connection?

Doesn't really matter, I know I wouldn't have wasted 20 minutes on something I had already won.

Exactly.
I usuallly stay and have some fun,all in every hand with everyone. But ive noticed some ppl dont.Maybe they think otherwise,or dont know what we're doing,or just want to play it out.And ive seen the post and fold.I stay because its usually a bit of fun.If i didnt want to stay longer,id post and fold too...unless you'd rather have to wait on me?
That'd be rude.
Seems you're mad because they're not doing what YOU want them too...and that's poker.
Cheers.

I think it depends on who is on the table with you normally I do go all in after the moneys won but sometimes its helpful to play to the end to try and improve your game and get to know who you are playing better, and try new stuff when it doesnt really matter.

As for it being rude there was nothing stopping you from leaving.

Maybe they have different point bonuses on their host, so it would pay for staying in ? I cant see any sense in staying and not playing otherwise.

just finished playin a couple sitngos on real money side. after top 3 are left most go all in. i like to play hard after that just to get respect from folks that i dont know that mite remember my av or name etc. so when i play a real money ring table it can be a better game for me if i play with the same folks that have been on those tables.
sucks that happened cody but hey u placed in top 50 percent and u got that fool wonderin how u play

Well most of the ones I've played it's been 'all in' once it's down to the last 3. I have had a couple where we played it for a few hands. I was thinking it might give me some info on the other players, but then I figured it might give then info on me, so now I just go all in.

Never thought about the poker points though CC. That might be a reason to play the hands?
