Hmmm I'm in the same as Mr Cool, so have just tried to register but it won't let me.

Checked the names of registered players and found a MrSmellyFarts but no MrCool.

It does surprise me that there is always well over 200 players who have made an FIRST deposit, the amount of players playing would suggest this is not possible.

I like Crink, have never deposited any of my own money on the cash side. Started from a voucher on the outlaws, won the outlaws and went from there. Good wins at times and bad losses at other times. Made it last nite Duke to 5th. One bad hand had three aces and guy hit flush on river. Still not bad when there was 108 players in that game. Lost a little patience with player at end. Still won $15 bucks to add to me coffee fund.

what is this "coffee fund" you ladies keep speaking of? I need to get me one. Congrats, rad. You were playing well. I feared for you when you played 3 hands the first round at the table, but all in all you were tight and picked your spots well. I could learn some lessons for you.

On another note I'm toying with the idea of setting a mini goal for the month of October. I was thinking of playing just half an hour a day (no time for more, but that's enough to hopefully keep me sane). My goal is really just to see how well I can do with one table of cash game within my bankroll, but if I were to set a number, I'd shoot for $15. I'll give updates once a week or so. It's not much but it's about all I can do.

i play GTD tourneys and deepstack tourneys now max buy in $5 and do ok with these, over the last two weeks ive placed 3rd and two 4ths winning about $100 .never been much of a rings player cash or free but some times venture down to the 5/10 cents tables if im waiting on a tourney to start.
been up and down on my cash over the last year but enjoy the tourneys
Totally with you here, Telboy. Ive said it many times and i'll say it again.. the way i enjoy my cash games here is by depositng £10 as and when i need to or to play a higher tourny buy-in such as GTD tourny you've mentioned, Tel. I dont mind spending the $10 each month if need be because that'll keep me going for a while quite easily.
I know of a few friends that dont think twice about spending 50 squid in an evening for a torny. thats a bit much for my liking. But i do understand why they do it. it must be a great rush getting a good return if they place in the money.
As for making that sort of leap to play those tournies i think is beyond my skill level to do so.
However, moving onto a different leap, and one i havent done since.. i did pay £25 to play in a live tourny once being invited to do so by a friend... and i managed to finsish in the money, about 5th place i think, which i was very chuffed with. I;d defo like to do it again.. so if any leap was to be made again it would be a live tourny at around the same sort of stakes.. it defo was good fun for sure for an amount of money a lot less than i would spend of evening out on the tiles with me mates. And instead of waking up the next morning with a sore head and a pocket full of change.. i woke up with a feeling of achievement and a wallet full of notes
