A little bit suspicious

For some rather strange reason I decided to enter the 50pp $25 freeroll today... regretted it since, as over half of entrants must have sat out throughout, and there was a big stack on every table who insisted on raising preflop every hand... where patience eventually got to me, and i saw my pocket 10's get burned.

Anyways, at the start of the tourney I was looking down the names of entrants on the lobby just to see if I knew anyone, when I saw something peculiar.

Take a look:



I never got the locations of those names, but they were most likely from the same place... At the first break (one hour in) only one of these names were still in, but was one of the big stacks, and will almost certainly make the money.

What can be done to have this reported, or looked into?
Would 24/7 help at all?

Either way, I just thought was worth sticking this on here... if not for help, then for opinions

First, I have checked and these are not OP66 players.

I will email your screen shot and description to the tournament fraud department and see what can be done.

we are playing on cash side with other players that since the latest awitch we can't see there chat,,,they know this

i have said many times ,,,i've been at many tournys where players from other sites are are dumping chips right in front of me.....

no chat with who your playing will lead to people cheating against op66 players,,,, it been happening ,,no suprize here.

Sorry I disagree, no chat from other sites lessens abuse as we are an English only site and they, for the most part are not. Those who will cheat are not going to do it in the chat box of the table when it is so easy to do it through other methods outside the site.

Fraud is checking this out, and if it is the same person with multiple account that is in violation of the site rules and they will be escorted out.

As for chip dumping, it is as it always has been, if they are OP66 let a mod know and we will handle it, if not let 24/7 know and they will address it.

Just so I am clear : I have never had worries about op66 players i play with ! !
it's only players from other sites that are on same cash searver.. i'm not too worried about it it either,I know players from other sites in tournys have at times been on a phone or chat ,, sharing hands,,,, this if reported can be dealt with
when you can look at all hands and chat ..
i think it happens but itsn't rampent.
that grouping of players tel pointed out looks very funny !!!
the no chat with other players i'll always dis-agree with ,, but i just put up with it.
and in double up sit and go's,, if i see same 2 players from other sites always in same game.....guess what ?? i dont sing up ,, tournys,,,well i just dont think its happening alot ,but some.
and lastly , I just never worry about op66 players being incahoots,, just wonder about other site players on cash side at times..

Licensing department has confirm that these are not the same person and they have requested that the subsequent names be changed to avoid the appearance of cheating.

Yes well I have to take them at their word (since I can not see the data), and just out of morbid curiosity I looked in our archives and we have a dozen or more variations on Casino and Royale none of which are the same person. So the assumption her is that they are the same person, rather than it is a very popular poker name and when they registered #2 were told that #1 was taken and simply added a 2 to get the majority of the name....or are we immediately suspicious of four players who have the name daddy in their handle all being spoons too? I love conspiracy theory, especially in this country, perhaps you have heard of Area 53, that is the real site of the hidden spaceship, Area 52 is a media invented hoax to move the focus next door...

And to further your multiple personality conspiracy assumption there are currently 276 players registered with us that have either Daddy or Spoon in their names, so either it is a very popular name, or you have been getting busy in the forums m8.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but it appears in this case, if we accept the information, that it is just a coincidence....going back to my dark room to watch the X files.

How can anyone believe that 5 unrelated players with the same name apart from the number at the end all register for the same tournament.

OK, if it was that popular a name and there were say Royalcasino1 through to 1000 and 5 random numbers from those 1000 played, then maybe...

No reply from the powers that be would be more satisfactory than the reply that has been supplied.
