Default poker points?

Okay, so I know there is probably a guide somewhere out there, but I just wanted a quick answer.. Op66 gives a brief definition of Poker points, saying like every tenth cent of ten dollars or something.. I've got 128.9 poker points, and I was just wondering how much money that translates into. Thanks!

What are you worth?

it was a big discussion a little while back. I think I could make it clear if you can't get it from this past thread.

actually if it's a point per 10 cents contributed to rake, wouldn't it be $12.89??

I think Aus was saying how much you would have to have spent to get 128.9 poker points. (poker points don't have any value, just gets you into certain torneys/sit n goes)

well if it's how much you contribute to the rake that you want to know I'm still going to disagree. If it's 1 PP per 10c that's 10 PP per dollar. So 10 times amount paid in rake should equal your PP. Therefore you'd divide by 10. If you strictly played tourneys it $128.90 would be how much you paid in entry fees. However assuming you play both it should be $12.89 you've paid toward EITHER rake OR tournament fees (not entries). Apparently I'm the only one that thinks this though, so I could be wrong. But if I am I want to know how/why. Not that big of a deal. But I noticed this when I was searching for santa (lol) and thought I'd run by it again.

I just thought it was ten cents, either rake or entry fees.. I've got about 325 now, minus my ticket for the one hundred tourney every sunday, so about 350. Does anyone know what will come of these?

Yeah it is 10 cents either way. So your points (350?) each count as 10c you paid to EITHER rake OR entry fees (not buy ins just the fee). So basically 350 PP is 35 dollars that you have contributed to rake. And "what will become of them" was best said by St. Jammy:

Yeah, that kinda sucks. Oh well, free entries to tourneys.. Plus the poker points deducted still count towards a bonus, if you still have that going for you.. thanks for the feedback guys!
