Were you playing Omaha? You only get to use 2 cards from your hand, 3 from those dealt on the table

Not only do you "get" to use 2 from your hand, but you MUST use 2 from your hand.

It does take a bit of getting used Omaha. But once you remember that you MUST only use 2 of your cards & only 3 on the board then it is a truly mad betting frenzy where several different hands may be achievable until the river is dealt.
Good luck.

omaha is a good game once u kno it, but its unfortunate that evry game i go on there is an all-in almost EVERY HAND!

People go crazy with omaha! pre-flop hands are over valued so often it is unreal. Many times i've been forced to fold hands which involve good suited cards, aces, middle pairs, because in the short run it is easy to lose with these hands... but very few people see this, which is a shame.

I've gone off playing omaha online because of this reason, it's too crazy for me lol. Good luck to all those who play it, and even more luck to those who have patience for it lol

i also had the same problems....loosing hands w/sets or quads pocket, till i read the rules...guess i should have done that first lol.. now that i've played the game more, i've figured out that it's just like the instructions say....the hand does'nt really come into play till the nuts, unless you get a killerflop...gl personally i think i'll stick to texas hold'em poker
