perhaps i wasnt clear. I should have emphasized "HOUSE RULES"...everybody has different ways of playing, and SOME house games have special rules regarding straights, flushes, jokers, etc. For example, some people play lowball A,2,3,4,5 as best hand, others consider this a straight, and A,2,3,4,6 is the best lowball hand. What is important is that the house rules need to be understood by all players in the game. And yes, I have played before in games where A-5 is not a straight. But, with the understanding going into the game of the rules.
Having said that, (as before), USUALLY (as in 99.9% of the time) this hand is a straight flush no question.
