i wish they would take that rediculously lucky game off the site. i am sooo used to there NOT being a omaha tourny that i entered a tourny the other day and when it started on my first hand and i had 4 cards dealt to me. yes i am an idiot because i thought that there was a computer glitch and you can all laugh out loud at me because i deserve it. god knows i would laugh at you if you thought that haha but that game is for people who dont have what it takes to play REA:L poker. i mean come on if you need 9 cards to make a 5 card hand but you can only use two down cards and 3 up cards what the hell is the point. as far as i am concerned that game should be banned world wide. ill bet someone who sucked at poker made that game up. IT IS TOOO EASY to get a hand and then you get beat most of the time anyway. and as far as strategy ids concerned, THERE IS NO STRATEGY you just bet and hope hahahahahahahaha. there should be a warning on that game that says FOR CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER. ok you guys come on get your laugh at me verbally its ok i deserve it. lol i cant believe i thought there was a comp glitch lol.

Anyone who cannot play hold'em will say: it's a luck game. I find it sad you that you indulge in the same pitfall.

There is just more to calculate and different pre and post flop strategies.

I think you are just annoyed because you dunked your big tourny average.

I played 4 big omahas tourneys so far; more than 80 people. Never made it worse than 5th and got a golden and a bronze. You really think it is luck?

Btw, all the people I know that play bridge and poker games prefer omaha.... Certainly not a coincidence.

Omaha's a great game, more skill required to play it imo and need to know when to fold- not luck. Thats probably because i have been playing hold em longer but still, lots of skill required. Most players play more than just one type of poker as it improves your all round game. Just because you cant play it, dont go around dismissing it, as many people will disagree.

I thought the same as you my first time, in a small tourney...laugh is i came second lol
But i enjoy Omaha immensley as do alot of folk..for me its equally as much fun as Texas.....
You got to think twice as much too...

hey you guys all have valid points but i just dont agree, im sorry but it just seems a bit too easy because there are toooo many cards. the truth is poker i s a 5 card game and over the years many variations of the origunal game have become popular. all im saying is that there are just wayyyy too many cards. and no its not about the turny average cause i did place in the top 30 but honestly if i knew it was omaha i wouldnt have entered. and to peove my point i will say this it is very rare to see two full houses in one hand of holdem but i saw four of them in the same hand in the omaha tourny lol lol. cmon if you get a house and it gets beat by 3 others in the same hand then that is pure LUCK to the winner. i mean if youre gonna use 9 cards then why not 12 or 15??????? and how about this you guys, WOULD YOU PLAY OMAHA FOR MONEY?????? i certainly wouldnt. yes i will play it for fun but i just prefer to play holdem. as a matter of fact i would rather play STUD, you know the original game of poker where you get 5 cards and thats it, best hand wins if you call the bet. but the places online that i have found to play stud, REALLY SUCK hahaha. and as far as liking getting hit on hey if i can dish it out (unlike most others)i can take it toooooo lol. but you guys have made valid points and i asppluad you for sticking up for something that you like , i just think ther are tooo many cards to make a hand with in omaha. oh and i will p;lay in the next omaha tourny if i am avail to play but i dont think youll see me on the ring tables lol

thats ok boooog my brother is an attorney and he has advised me to file a counter suit under the premise that whoever decided to play poker with 9 cards violated a poker ruling from back in the 12th century where anyone playing poker with more than 5 cards was executed.hahahahahahaha and i am suing for damages

well ive looked into my current situation and theres a special rule for people born on the 22nd of august 1984 in liverpool with the first name barry to say that that rule doesnt count for them!!!
