GETTING STARTED

What do I do to begin playing?

Follow these steps to play poker at OnLinePoker66:

1. Fill out the registration form: Click Here for the registration form. http://play.onlinepoker66.com/register.do

2. Click the ‘Play Now’ graphic in the top right of the ‘My Account’ page.

When you click this graphic it will launch the gaming client. If the gaming client does not work, you will need Flash Player. You can download it for Free here:

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

3. The poker lobby contains two types of game tabs on the left side – Real Money and Play Money. Chose the type of game you want to play by selecting the correct tab. If you have made a deposit of real money, or have ever won real money from a freeroll, the system defaults to the real money tab.

4. Within the correct tab select a Game Type/Limit. The available games will display in the center of the page.

5. Pick a Table. Select the table that you want to join from the center frame in the gaming client. You can select by double clicking your mouse, or by using the ‘Join Table’ button at the top of the table list. The game will open.

6. Pick a Seat. Pick the seat that you want at the table by clicking on a ‘Seat Open’ button. Only available seats will display the ‘Seat Open’ button. Game play buttons will pop-up for you to post blinds and make game decisions. Click ‘Auto Post Blind’ in the lower left to automatically post your blinds and speed up the game.

TECHNICAL

Do I need to install any software?

Yes, and No. You do not have to download any software from this site to play or interact in the forum. You do, however; need 2 free plug-ins for your browser. You need to be running a Flash Player for the poker rooms, and Java for the chat rooms. Make sure that you have the most recent updates, and if you experience problems, that you check the technical section of the forum for update information on new releases.

Java Updates: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Flash Updates: http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/downloads.html
Technical Forum: http://www.onlinepoker66.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=22

When I press ‘Play Now’ button nothing happens.

This problem is almost always caused by pop-up blockers or stale cookies / temp files. The quickest way to launch the gaming client is to hold down the ‘Ctrl’ key while you press ‘Play Now’.

To configure Pop-up Blockers and clear your cache:

Temp Files, Cookies, Cache and Pop-Up Blockers - How To

When I press ‘Play Now’ button it only displays a blank / incomplete screen.

This problem is caused by not having Flash Player installed, or because you are using a very old version. You can install Flash Player for Free by clicking on this link:

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/. After you install Flash Player, the gaming client will work properly.

I can’t get into the Lobby or Tables

The first question that anyone in this case should ask you is “Have you ever been able to get in?”

If the answer is YES, then what has changed on your system? Has there been an automatic update recently? Have you updated your Flash or Java recently? Does it need to be updated? Have you loaded new software?

If you are unable to determine a cause you can post to the Technical Forum, or ask a Moderator in Chat or Private Message. Please include system information like Operating System, Browser Type, Computer type and configuration and how you are connecting to the Internet.

If the answer is NO, then you may want to take a few steps to check your system and connections:

1. Can you connect to other sites? If not it could be your Internet connection, try rebooting your router or modem.

2. Have you loaded the correct Flash and Java for your system? Links in this thread have the pages to check your updates.

3. Have you tried another browser? There are several browsers available and in some instances a different browser will work. Try Fire Fox, Mozilla, Chrome, or Netscape Navigator. Remember that they will each need their own version of Flash player.

If nothing works or you are not comfortable doing some of the more technical things, contact a Moderator and one of us can set a time to walk you through most of the issues.

In over 80% of the cases, if the site is functioning properly for others, and not for you, then clearing the temporary files and cookies will resolve the issue.

Where do I report Bugs or problems I am having with this site?

If you think you may have a bug, or are having technical problems (Can't sit, chips flying around, chips stuck on tables, etc...) follow this thread:

FAQ for Poker Room, Forum, Chat and other programs

If the poker room is down, does that mean the whole site is down?

The poker room software runs in a secured site server farm. It is totally separate from the forum, chat and other game servers. If maintenance is being performed a posting in the forum or pop-up from the server will inform you of that and what time it is expected to be back.

SITE

How can I get help with a problem or issue?

Currently, you can access help through searching the forum, contacting a Moderator or using 24/7 Live Chat support from the main login page.

Issues concerning specifically the forum or chat must go through a moderator. Issues involving the poker room (a bug or technical issue) can be handled by a moderator or 24/7 support.

What is a Moderator and what is their job?

Moderators are special members of the site who have been given the responsibility for enforcing the rules, acting as a liaison for the players and providing assistance. There are several ways to get help from the Moderators. A moderator is in the chat room at almost any hour of the day or night globally. They are indicated by a Green Icon next to their name in the user list. If there is not one there, or you do not need immediate resolution to your question or issue, you can send a Private message to one in the list below. Be sure to check the moderator’s own profile page to see when they were last online. They are real people too, and take time off. So, to avoid a lengthy delay in getting a response, please send it to someone who is recently on-line.

Who are the Moderators? How do I contact a Moderator?

Agua, AusAngel, BlackLava, BlueJay, Bobf111, Carmine555, Elpoulpo, FunkyG, Hman, Jockney, Mrsbassmaster, Quagan, Rubix, theBassmaster, theBountyHunter, ToweringTexan, Uyto

You can contact a moderator through the Private Message system, through the chat room or the moderator’s homepage.

I have been banned, how do I contact someone to discuss it?

If you were banned and either do not understand the reason, or wish to discuss it, you can send a regular e-mail to OP66ban@gmail.com. State your real name, your screen name and the issue. A member of the moderator team will respond, usually the same day.

How to report FOUL LANGUAGE / ABUSE / SUSPECTED CHEATING / CHIP DUMPING!

If you are insulted on a table:

1. Copy the hand number, time and table name.

2. Contact 24/7 live chat and give your nickname, the nickname of the offender, and a short description of the story. Also, please send a Private Message to a Moderator of OP66 with the conversation log from your exchange with 24/7 support so that we can take further action, if required.

3. Don't expectt an instant effect, issues are recorded and action is taken if the offender makes another insult usually, BUT, you can instantly mute anyone for yourself by using "block chat" (click on the player name when he is seated at your table). As notes, blocked chats are recorded in your profile, it is a permanent thing.

How do I copy the chat conversation?

Right click in the chat box and it will say Select All: then Right click it again and it will say COPY. Copy the chat and send by right clicking once again and selecting Paste.

What is "Server Time" and where do I find it?

It is a basic time that everyone can use to meet or play tourneys, It is based on EST.

Server Time is found just above the "Real Money" tab in the Lobby. Your time can be found at the bottom of the FORUM page for comparison. Be sure that you check the Server Time for Tourney times.

What is Muck Losing?

The area on the table where all of the dead cards are placed. Any hand that was folded and all burned cards are placed in the muck. Any hand that was folded, and all burned cards are put into the Muck. To fold your hand, is to Muck your hand. This term is often used when another hand is shown at the showdown that beats your hand. It can also mean to fold one's hand.

Over time they will have more uses as new games, contests and challenges are added to the site.

http://www.onlinepoker66.com/forum/creditsconverter.php

Transform those forums credits into free chips (fill your forums profile, post a few messages on forum, create a new thread and earn tons of credits! No spam or you will be banned!):

- 1 credit = 10 free chips
- Minimum exchange of 1000 credits (=10.000 free chips)

CHAT

How can I Chat with players?

There are multiple ways to chat with players.

• On the poker table there is a chat box in the lower right corner
• On the homepage, when you log in you will be entered into the main chat room where you can chat with anyone who is there.
• You can close the main window and launch the chat program from the forum. This has been mentioned as helpful because it runs in its own window outside the browser.

The Chat room will not load...

Check to make sure you have Java loaded and updated to the latest release.

What do the different colors in the player list mean?

Normal Players will have a blue icon next to their name in the chat room list. Moderators are any other color. Moderators will always appear at the top of the list so they are easy to find if you need them.

How do I have a private conversation?

You can double click the player name in the list on the right hand side and a new window will open where you can have a conversation with just that player. This is most helpful to communicate with a Moderator about an issue.

Is chat also monitored and moderated?

Yes, Chat, private or public, is monitored. TOS violations in the public chat room will result in a removal of that player from chat, and up to a complete ban of the player from the site. In private chat, Cheating will not be tolerated and will result in an instant ban of the players.
