 Cheap books for newbies? hey im new an started playn a few weeks ago, ive read through the strategic guide but i find it much easier reading somethin in my hand rather then on the computer, is there any cheap simple books out there? maybe ones i could get on ebay or at a book store? any recomendations?  |

| there is teaxas hold em for dummies, thats wat i read, its betr to start off reading a book and then playing then playing for a little while then reading, dont buy a book and do wat i did! its hard to remember stuff wen youve played and won. |

| GET THIS ONE!-- 'Winning at poker- essential hints and tips' by Dave Scharf I started out with this, and know i'm pretty confident with what/how i'm doin at a pkr table, it's gr8  I got it for a tenner, myte be cheaper now. If u can find it, i'll reccomend it. Gud luk rubba duk for ya future at pokerin'. |

| I read the texas holdem for dummies, its a good first poker book to read. Texas Hold'em Odds and Probabilities: Limit, No-Limit, and Tournament Strategies by Mathew Hilger is a good second book to read, after that I would probaly read some Harrington books. |

| Hey Duff I think no book can help when it comes to playin poker only time, time, time, and a little more time can be the only help I can suggest. Oh and of cause relax a tense player has lost before the game has begun...patience is the key. Each hand has it's own adventure lol. Good 1 m8 Cheers

| I say theory of poker and NL cash game and practise is only around $30 both included. So give them a shot very good read.
