It's time for OP66's first MaFiA! A community has grown - noobs await! DO NOT ASK TO PLAY IF YOU CAN'T LOG ON ONCE A DAY.

MAFIA - a game of deception, trickery, and the shameless stoning of innocent bystandards.

Traditionally the game's players are comprised of civilians, cops, and mafia members. For the purposes of OP66, we will be revising them as users, mods, and hackers.

The Story: The users in a game of OP66 Mafia are members of a small online community which is being terrorized by hackers. During the night, the hackers cause chaos on the servers, hijacking a law-abiding[ COLOR="Lime"] user [/COLOR]as their victim, and ultimately getting them deleted. During the day, the users gather together, seeking justice, and vote to convict one of their number of secretly being a member of the hackers , and getting them deleted.

The Objective: The mod and users need to figure out who the hackers are and delete them before it's too late. The hackers however need to try their best to avoid capture and deletion, and instead try to delete all the users and mods .

The catch: no one knows the role of any other player.

The order of events and rules:-Anyone wanting to play must send me a PM (this thread will have a LOT of information on it once the game starts, so PM me your entrance and check back on this post for updates).
-Once all are gathered, each player will be PMed their role: mod , user , hacker. Each one is very important and entertaining to play. The rules for each will be explained in the PM's received.
-I will present a game-opening post, announcing the threat of the incoming hackers . "Night" will fall, and I will ask the hackers to select a user victim via PM. That person will then be "hacked" and removed from the game.
-The "Day" will arive, the deleted user will be anounced, and the remaining alive players all discuss who they think did it. All remaining players will reach a general concensus as to who they want to delete, and upon said deletion, that deleted person's role will be revealed.

This would conclude one round of the game, and it continues back to night, where the hackers strike again, and the mod comes a little closer to figuring out who did it. The mod may reveal him/herself at any time, but no other player has any reason to believe him. Usually if the mod reveals him/herself too soon, the hackers will just kill him off the next night. This is a game of lying and deceit (so some of you will be pretty good at it already) for the hackers, and cunning and perception for the users and mods.

The game ends if the innocents delete all the hackers, or when the hackers kill enough innocent players so that they can no longer be overpowered by them (example: 3 hackers and 3 innocents means the hackers can’t be voted to death as there is no majority on the good side).

PM me if you want to play (you do not get to pick your role, I do that once everyone is assembled, the PM just lets me know you want to play) – the game will begin (Date Pending)

Some tips since it is the first Mafia:
This game isn't meant to be selfish, it's not about YOU living, but your "side" living/winning. (I.E. a user sacrificing themselves)
To the Mods: You can create a mod "circle". Basicly, you can send a pm to users that you have checked out to be actual users and tell them who a hacker is (if you discover one), so that they can sacrifice themselves saying that the hacker is the hacker.
(so obviously the mod has the ability to check players to determine wether they are a mod, user, or a hacker.

Please do not say if you are a mod or hacker to ANYONE! Even if they aren't in the game. I have seen games ruined because one individual has done this. He was banned from the next Mafia's.

I shall create a voting thread to make my life easier right before the first "day" starts. The roles are given out by RANDOM NUMBER GENERATORS (so anyone can be a mod or hacker.
